I have dark brown hair, brown asian eyes, medium tan skin. i would like to make my eyes pop. Suggestions :DHelp With Applying My Make-up ?
try using shades of blue, green, purple, you just need to find something that compliments your skin tone. Add some colored eye liner and mascara, and you're all set.Help With Applying My Make-up ?
I have brown eyes too. To make my eyes pop, I use a light gold eye shadow and then a white just under my eyebrows. Then I outline my eyes with black eyeliner and where black mascara.

All the products I use are botanically based and healthier then other products.

I hope this info helps. If you have any questions, you can email me directly from the website.

Applying for David Jones, but have no retail work experience, should I make up some?

I only have one week's experience as a sales representitive. But I have a bachelor degree in business. And I want to work in retail in David jones. Any ideas? Can I make up some work experience that is untrackable because they are overseas?

Opinons? Practical ones?

If you already have your bachelor's degree you are obviously qualified to work retail. It's not exactly ethical to make up work experiance, but it's not exactly logical for employers to require experiance in order to get entry-level work...

I would put down fake experiance and list a friend as your manager from that job. Chances are that they won't even call your friend, but if they do, he or she can be ready to tell your interviewer what a great worker you are...

Devious, but sometimes you have to be to get ahead....

  • Do you wait until you get into your vehicle to finish applying your make-up, style your hair, etc.,?

I was almost hit by a person putting on make-up in a car. The car in front of her stopped fast, she had both hands up working on the make-up. When she hit the brakes, her car turned hard left right in front of me. I ended up off the road, but never hit her.Do you wait until you get into your vehicle to finish applying your make-up, style your hair, etc.,?
Only to apply lip gloss on my way to work.Do you wait until you get into your vehicle to finish applying your make-up, style your hair, etc.,?
no, who wants to apply makeup in a moving car? you're just gonna poke your eye out.
No, I don't because most of the time I go with the natural look and don't wear make-up
    Never in a million
I wait until I am at my destination, then I usually apply some mascara and foundation in the parking lot. I don't know why but for some reason I keep my make up in my purse so it's always in my car. Therefore I have to put it on in the car.
im all prepared when i leave the house.
No, I do all my primping at home!!~~
no, I do all that before I leave the house.
no i do it at at home but certainly do a mirror check ....
No I get ready at home. I don't wear much make up and my hair though I try has a mind of it's own.

just go up to the counter with your CV and ask for the manager, either hand it in or send it off to the address %26amp; name they give you..How or where to apply for make-up artist jobs in retail?
Department stores found in the local mall such as macy's and lord %26amp; taylor tend to sell those products and need beauty advisors or make-up artists. I believe that they do work on commission or that commission is part of how they make their salary.

For general career info: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search 'barbers, cosmetologists and other personal appearance workers' or such. If deciding to get formal training, please forgo those private $$ schools and instead opt for the county vo-tech school (or community college) as long as it's accredited within the industry.

How do you properly apply eye make up?

    1) Eyeliner

    2) Mascara

    3) Eyeshadow

Thanks, and links and pics would be helpful too!How do you properly apply eye make up?
to apply eyeliner just put the pencil close to the edge of the eyelid and apply a small line to your eye. to apply mascara just put it on you top and bottom lashes. to apply eyeshadow just put it on theres nothing major about that. go to covergirl.com to learn more about make upHow do you properly apply eye make up?
Apply eyeshadow first, for a no makeup makeup look use a shadow a shafe lighter than you skin. For a more dramatic look use some color or a deeper tone.

Next apply eye liner to open up your eyes more, use a dark color or bright color on the outer half of your lash line. Then use a white or nude pencil to line you bottom eyes to make the whites of your eyes stand out.

Finally for mascara I prefer the covergirl lash blast. Put this at the base of you lash line and looking down wiggle the brush through and up your lashes. For a more dramatic look do this on you bottom lashed too, but looking up instead. Hope this helps!

In what order are you supposed to apply make-up?

mascara, foundation, eye shadow, eye liner, lipstick, concealer, blush, etc....In what order?

Real answers from experienced professional experts please! Thanks! In what order are you supposed to apply make-up?
lotion, coverup (for blemishes and under eye area), foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, pressed powderIn what order are you supposed to apply make-up?
I put on foundation, then mascara, eyeliner, lipstick, lip brush (better 4 me w/ my kinda hand/eye cordnation).
well, the first thing u want to do is put on the lotions or coverups or foundations as the base to your makeup. then, u'll want to put on the eye and lip makeup. (you can pick your own order in these, according to your preferences) Then, you will want to put on the blush, or cheek color. do your hair before or after the makeup, if you start it in between, it always gets screwed up. :)
My wife works for Estee Lauder - this answer is a bookmark to update later.
Always do you hair before applying your make up as you dont want to be getting water, hairspray, wax etc on your face.

    1. Moisturiser

    2. Foundation

    3. Consealer

    4. Eyeshadow

    5. Eyeliner

    6. Mascara

    7. Lipliner(optional), Lipstick %26amp; Lipgloss

    8. Blush or bronzer (if required)
Hi, I am a fahion make-up artist. You should apply foundation, then concealor always conceal around the eye area, then powder, blend any concealor from lines on eyelid under eye before powdering,

then groom/fill brows lightly, then eyeshadow base colour, then your choosen eyeshadow/shadows, then eyeliner/mascara, then lip liner, lipstick

Apply blush last because its purpose is to add colour to your face, and until you have the rest of the colour on you wont know how much blush/bronzer you need.

For a youthful appearance apply high on you apples, and use a reflective cream like revlon skin lights on your cheeks :)

How much of MAC's products do I have to purchase so that they will apply the make-up on me for my prom?

This will be at Beverly Center, Los Angeles. How much of MAC's products do I have to purchase so that they will apply the make-up on me for my prom?
The thing is the look they create for you could cost $200 worth of products for you to recreate....so it depends on you and what you are will to not be able to recreate without the right tools and all the right colors, etc.How much of MAC's products do I have to purchase so that they will apply the make-up on me for my prom?
I have had my make-up done there...You don't have to purchase anything but they strongly recommend that you do. They will show you the products that work best for you. If you are interested in buying something it's best to go in there with a budget because it isn't cheap. Also before they do your make-up discuss with them in detail what type of a look you want because they tend to be dramatic!

I see that the girl before me said that you do need to purchase something, so you might want to give them a call actually. Maybe it changes by region or whatever.
I got my makeup done for prom and I had to spend $40 dollars worth of products.
i think you only have to get like one thing. they used to not make you get anything, it was just customary. you dont have to get crazy though. make sure you get the lipstick so that you can touch up throughout the night. and they make great eyeshaddow.
    40 dollars, or 2-3 products
