Especially the eyes. Can anyone advise me on applying make up like this?
1. Use a primer on your eyelids. Urban Decay have the best one going but you can always just coat your lids in foundation and then dust them with traslucent powder. This helps the make up last longer.

2. Using a big brush apply a light brown shadow up to the crease and make it into a soft 'wing' in the outer corners like in the picture.

3. Apply a darker brown shadow around the top and bottom lids but stick close to the lash line and smudge it with your ring finger.

4. Apply a black eyeliner pencil around the outter lash line and smudge it.

5. Then apply black eyeliner on your lower water line.

6. Next use a higlihter just under the brow.

7. Finally add a few layers of lengthening masara to your lashes (try cliniques long pretty lashes).

8. For her cheecks use a bronze cream blush.

9. For lips apply a layer of foundation over your lips and use a nude liner and then apply a light pink gloss (loreal have a colour similar to this) Can anyone advise me on applying make up like this?
it looks like a sheer base has been used. try a lightweight foundation, matching your skintone of course, making sure you blend well around the jaw line. use a rosey-pink blush tint or powder along the cheekbones, but never go over the top !

the lips look as though they may have been left nude. its a good idea to use a lip balm to give nude lips a natural softness like in the picture.

okay for the eyes, you could use an eyelid primer, though it is not absolutely necessary, just a way to balance colour and help eyeshadow last longer. if you use this, blend well up to the eyebrows.

to start with use a black or dark gray eyeshadow, and use your finger to blend across the eye, from the inner corner of your lid, outwards. make sure the eyeshadow application is heavier towards the outer corner of the eyelid so that you get the smokey effect.

you can use a small amount of the eyeshadow to smudge a little colour under your bottom eyelashes. this shouldnt be too much and only under the outer corner.

now use a pencil eyeliner to define the inner rim of your eyelids, all around the eye, if you can, and use a good black mascara for your lashes.

hope this helps you =)
its a fading effect by applying the darker color along the ridge of the ey and using your finger to sort of smudge it outwards. Its one of those that you have to play and practice with to get it right and get it the way you like it.
All you need to do is get a sharp kohl eye liner in black. Apply it round the eyes, then smudge with a cotton bud. Then use volume mascara on your lashes.
Try Youtube, but i have seen one were you need a Eye Shadow Smudger and about 3 to 4 colours of whites, greys and blacks.

Best trick is to just practice on yourself til you get it right :)
