I want a natural look. What do I need to buy?Can someone give me a basic lesson on applying make up?
1. first wash and dry your face
2. use concealer on acne circles under eyes etc.
3. set it with powder and lightly powder rest of face make sure the color is right
4. try some mascara it takes practice but really sets off eyes
5. pick a color a little darker than your face powder and use below your eyebrows and under the apple of your cheeks
6. pick a little brighter color and use on eyelids and on the apples of your cheeks
7. a little lip gloss or a little lipstick a little darker than your lips are now
8. use an eyebrow pencil to fill in the brows, the inside of your brows should come to a spot just above your tear-ducts the outer just past the outside of your eyes
9. less is more you can add but taking away means starting overCan someone give me a basic lesson on applying make up?

- Foundation to even/ smoothen complection: ..i dont wear it jus moisturise well
- Mascara: jus apply it to the top lip and blink thens its not to overdone
- Lipgloss/ or natural colour lipstick: (pinky)
- eyeshadow: that mixs well with your face..(i.e. light brown) hardly noticable but brings out ur eyes
- and concealer: incase one as bags under the eyes (i sometimes jus wear foundation over the top) then ur face looks bright and natural....:)
NOTE: when buying foundation/concealer always apply some...so u no itS YOUR SKIN COLOUR some girls where really light foundation and look they their wearing a mask...scary!!

natural beauty
You need concealer, foundation (liquid or powder), maybe some mascara, possibly some eyeliner, a soft blush and a soft colour of lipstick or lipgloss.
go to www.videojug.com and check out their beauty section, there's a lesson in applying natural makeup :)
get pink eyeshadow tan blush and a pinkish tan lip gloss
1.aply bludh lightly
2.aply eyeshadow by getting a lighter pink the put on bottom of lid then darker on rest on lid.
3.aply lip gloss
4.u look natural and beautiful
put some councilor under ur eyes to have nice healthy eyes, put some natural color compact powder foundation on ur face %26amp; nick, put some mascara on ur lashes, natural blusher on ur checks %26amp; some gloss on ur lips.
start off with a primer this with make a new fresh canvas for you makeup to sit on.
then apply a foundation that suits your skintone well like when you put it on your skin it seems to disappear.
then use a conscealer on spots dark circles and veins and dab with your ring finger until it blends in.
set your base with translucent yellow powder dont worry it wont make you look yellow it also is good if you have applied too much of something like if you look orange off your foundation.
if you want apply a bronzer just 2 give yourself a bit of colour then make sure you dust it on lightly so you dont look like you've been tangoed.
then finish with 1 coat of mascara. hope this helps.

bare minerals starter kit... its the best
mascara eyeliner lipgloss coverup
If you're kinda brownish get gold eye shadow, blush that matches ur skin tone and clear lip gloss.
lay it on thick
ok well depending on your skin first you need to see if you have any blemishes or scars or dark undereye circles that need to be covered up. if so then you apply a foundation that matches your skinn color then set it with a loose powder. if you dont have any of those problems skin this step then you apply a eyeshadow that matches your skin color and put a liuttle shimmer then apply 1 coat of masscara and then finish with a lip matte or a lipgloss
you are probably beautiful anyways you dont need to use makeup
mascara and eyeliner lightly applied, powder to take the shine off the nose, and something like chapstick so you don't get chapped lips- no blush or eyeshadow needed
what kind of skin do you have??
well, for the eyes, add 1 coat of mascara to the top and the bottom lashes to define the eyelashes.
for you cheeks use a bright pink cream blue it looks good (dream mouse whipped strawberries)
and use a coverup closest to your skin color
to finish if off use a powder =)
Blending is absolutely crucial for foundation, invest in a good face sponge to aplly it and wash it regularly. For eyeshadow, dab a small bit of dark shadow into the outer corner of your eyelid, nowhere else. It makes your eyes look very big and alluring.
you should check out everyday minerals, its pure mineral which is very healthy for your skin. it looks natrual and flawless
you should buy mascara, eyeliner, blush, mineral powder, foundation, eyeshadow, highlighter, base, and brushes
Hi Joy, I'm a beauty therapist and I recommend you either go into a salon for lessons, or go into a department store and ask at the make up counters for a lesson, you may need an appointment if they are busy- this should be free as they will promoting their products, a couple I recommend are Clinique as its perfume free which is good for sensitive skins, they will recommend a beauty routine, based on your skin type and Aveda also great if you prefer natural products, they use plants and herbs so it all smells divine, neither test on animals. The girls at either of these counters are very professional and well trained, I often go when I have a special event, like a wedding to go to as its one less job to think about, hope this helps.
Sweetheart, go to a department store, they have many counters that apply the make-up for you and show you how to do it. MAC is a very good brand and the staff are very helpful. Good luck :-)
