What are the steps to applying make-up?

im a beginner and im going to high school this year and i seriously don't know how to apply make-up or what to do before i apply it. And what colors would suit me because im african american but not dark but a brownish color. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE.What are the steps to applying make-up?

umm. you need some foundation first: that matches your skin tone like medium, some blush: a light pink/ coral, eyeshadow: whatever color you are wearing that day or whatever you like best on you like maybe: a light brown or dark brown, pink, or black would look nice oh, and a white color maybe, then some eyeliner, a nice soft black would look nice or maybe a white to make you look more awake or both together, mascara, soft black definetly, lip gloss: light pink or pinkish red depending on what you like best on you, and then you have your finish look!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

foundation (ask someone in any dep. store for your right color) ( i suggest covergirl)





Powder- if needed only when skin is dry. just brush a little on the whole face





eyes-


shadow- GOLD . suits dark colored .


eyeliner- black.








blush if wanted- apply to cheeks only once


with a rosey color .
