I have those wierd eyes due to a trachoma surgery when I was young. I had one-lidded eyes to start with, and I am Asian. After the surgery, one of my eye became two lidded and look slightly bigger than the other one.
I don't really care until recently when I started learing make up and I found it is really hard to make them even. the make up makes the two-lidded eye looks even more bigger than the other one.The one-lidded eye is especially hard to deal with, upper-lid liner can not be seen, I also can not curl the eyelash because the lid will prevent them to be curled. However, all of these lining and curling work extremely well with the two-lidded eye and it looked fantastic. But when you put them together, the gap between the two eyes broaden.
I don't know how to apply make up that makes them look even. Please help. Thank you!!!I have uneven eyes, one with 1 lid and the other with 2. How can I apply make up to make them even?
haha, ive had this problem before. im asian, and was born one-lidded. but all my life id get the double once in a while, for a day or two. sometimes with both eyes, sometimes just one eye.
what i found is by my experience is best keep it simple. the darker the shadown the more noticeable the difference. use a light ivory/pink ish shadow just to even lid. then u can use a light brown to contour, around the corner and eyebrow bone. u can use a grey/brown liner and just line the double eye very thinly, and the one-lid thicker (or apply a little gray shadow on top) so u can see a little color at the top of ur lid. ofcourse, when you look down u can kinda see a one eye has more liner than the other, but with ur eye open..itll look very similar!I have uneven eyes, one with 1 lid and the other with 2. How can I apply make up to make them even?
uuuhhhh, have you tried maybe putting one darker and the other lighter shades??
:\
With great difficulty
I would suggust that you try to apply a ';mildtone'; or ';accents'; to both eye lids then take another ';accents'; or ';highlighter'; and apply it to just outside your eyelid on the bottom and go up to about 3/4 the way from you eye on the brow line forming a V shape. You can get other tips at www.marykay.com/kfrench2006 also you can request samples of their colors to try
Not sure if I quite understand but I'll take a stab at it anyways:) Eyeshadow is all about creating illusions right? So we are going to create the illusion that your smaller eye matches your other eye. How? By putting the darkest color (the crease color) above the eyes natural crease. Not on the crease but above it, actually right on the brow bone probably. That will create depth and hopefully match them up. And then if the distance between your eyes is bigger than your eyes themselves your going to want to take your eyeliner and eyeshadow all they in (towards the nose). That will create the illusion that they are closer together than they actually are. For more FREE tips you can got to my website www.marykay.com/josiebee and look for tips on applying eye makeup for different shaped eyes! Have fun!
