How can i apply make up including every single thing like lipstick and every thing?

i want ust cosmatics but i m doing but my husband say u can not apply like another women plz help me thanxHow can i apply make up including every single thing like lipstick and every thing?
Foudation: Add a little blob onto both your cheeks. forehead, chin and nose. Rub it in untill your face looks blended into it.

Powder: Just put powder onto a make up brush and spread across your face. This will stop your foundation from looking patchy, orange or shiney.

Eyeshadow: Just close your eyes and put eyeshadow onto a brush and brush it across - very easy!

Eyeliner: Hold down your eyelids and colour them in with a PENCIL eyeliner, if you do it with liquid it will go into your eyes and sting!

Mascara: Simple. Just brush the mascara brush through your bottam and top eyelashes. Make sure it doesnt go clumpy and use eyelash curlers if you want them to look longer!

Blush: Suck your cheeks in and brush where the cheeksform a narrow part in your face lol.

Lipstick: Better to apply with a lipgstick brush so the cracks on your lips don't show. Just open your mouth wide and make sure all your lip is coverd otherwise it will look like bad.

Good luck :)

Answer my question if you have time pleasee xHow can i apply make up including every single thing like lipstick and every thing?
Go get some matte mouse foundation, anybrand of bronzer, the color of eyliner you like, and eyeshadow, mascara, and a lite lip color with a brick red tint lip liner, and lastly finnishing powder.

1) Use a light coat of the matte mouse foundation. It really covers up your blemishes without having to use concealer or anything.

2) Put on a thin line of eyeliner

3) Put on your eyeshadow

Blue Eyes. base the bottom of your eyelid in the blue tint of your eyes. Put a light brown in the center of your eyes. And put a fair beige color on the very top and then blend the colors in.

Green eyes. Do the same thing with the green except use a green base and not a blue.

Brown. Dark brown for the base and just blend in a beige color

Hazel. Blue, green, or brown shades will work for hazel eyes.

4) then apply just a little mascara. Don't make your lashes to thick but at the same time still make them noticeable.

5) then take a brush dab a little bronzer on it smile and brush once on each cheek to get that beautiful natural and not to fake look.

6) Take the powder and lightly brush it over you r face for the finnishing tough

7) put a thin line of brick red lip liner on your lips. The put a light color of your choice lipstick or gloos and blend it in.

Bam you have that natural look and still have your make up on
hey.

Putting on lipstick: Get the lipstick and apply it on your lips, only a bit though. Then get toilet paper and ';kiss'; it to make sure you have a bit on your lips.

Compact powder: Get a brush and dip it in the powder than just put it all over you face, make sure you do your neck to. always put cream on your face before you use compact powder.

Mascara: Easy. just rolle the stick up %26amp; down on your eyelids.

Good luck :D
When i apply my make up i start with the concealer and then the foundation, but i try not to use my fingers when apply as it can make my skin look greasy. Then maybe a little powder to take the shine off (but i use a brush not a puffy thing), then the eyebrow pencil but put it on in little strokes not lines, then the mascara and then some blusher, but i use a big brush for this because it looks less streaky than a little brush.

why dont you buy some make up magazines for some extra tips, hope this helps
1) Concealer- pat on blemishes + Under eye circle

2) Foundation- I would go with liquid to begin with. Get some sponges and blend it in

3) Eyeshadow- I would go light on this, go with some nude colours or the colours of your eyes to help bring them out. Just use the litttle sponge time applicator and put it on your eyelid. Use darker colours on your crease

4) Eyeliner- Use white eyeliner on ur waterline/inner rim and use dark/brown eyeliner on your outer rim on the outer half. Smudge.

5) Blush- if you want. I'd go with a stain but they're usually quite expensive. Otherwise, suck in your cheeks and brush on the blush on the cheekbones or use a dark shade in the hollows of your cheeks

6) Curl eyelashes- I'd do it three times on different parts of your lash to give it a good curl

7) Mascara- zigzag up the upper lashes and just carefully do it on the bottom lashes. use a business card behind it so you don't get it on your skin

Lots of love Alice xx
you need the thing to do everything including all the things.
Youtube has wonderful makeup tips:)
You don't make sense sorry.
wtf
MASCARA:

i love bourjois maxi mascara extreame volumising length mascara, with this they never clump together. i have tried all the mascaras you can think of and this is the best by far.

when choosing a mascara, consider the types of mascara and select one appropriate for your lashes and the occasion. you have a choice of lengthening, thickening, long-wearing, conditioning and waterproof formulas, among others. for day, you might decide to add length, while a night on the town may require a long-wearing or thickening formula. for me, mac mascaras are the best as i like to add length to my lashes.

you didnt mention the natural colour of your lashes? if you have blond or red lashes, opt for brown mascara. darker-lashed women can consider brown for a casual look, and black or brown-black for more pronounced or dramatic lashes.

when applying mascara a great tip is to curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, it will make your lashes look heaps longer. remove the wand from the tube in one pull. pumping the mascara will push air into the tube, potentially drying out the formula and introducing bacteria into it.

begin with the underside of your upper lashes, moving the brush slowly upward toward the tips of your lashes. always hold the wand parallel to your eyelid. roll the brush slowly on the upward stroke to promote separation of the lashes.

allow the first coat of mascara to dry before applying the second coat in the same manner. use an eyelash comb to separate the wet lashes. also blot the lashes with tissue paper if necessary to remove excess mascara. use less mascara for the lower lashes. begin where the lashes meet the rim of the lower eyelid, and gently stroke downward. remove any stray mascara around the eye with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of eye makeup remover.

FOUNDATION:

mineral make-up is great, i LOVE loreals true match minerals, i know its quite expensive but its really worth the money and that little pot lasts forever. it does reduce the ammount of spots you get as it doesnt clog the pores unlike most make-up. however, if you have dry skin it may not work for you. it can sometimes make dry skin look even dryer and a bit flakey. see if you can find sample pots (you can get these from alot of sites that ofer free samples) before you invest in a pot for yourself.

whatever mineral make-up you choose, allow your moisturizer to dry and absorb before applying your make-up, this may take a few minutes. always use a non-mineral, oil-based moisturizer that will not clog pores. if your moisturizer does not absorb into your skin, neither will your mineral makeup. use a setting powder as a base all over if you have oily skin...it will help absorb the oil naturally. mineral make-up should be applied in light layers. if you feel you need more coverage, keep applying light layers.

begin with clean hands and a clean face. then apply moisturizer appropriate to your skin type. let it set a few minutes, particularly if your skin is oily. camouflage under-eye circles and blemishes with concealer.

select a foundation that is appropriate to your skin type and the coverage you wish to achieve. the colour should match your skin, disappearing when blended well. shake the bottle well to mix the formula. or, simply open a stick or compact version. place a small amount of foundation on the back of one hand. dip your makeup sponge or your middle finger into it. apply to the center of your face: cheeks, forehead, chin. blend out to your hair and jawline until the foundation vanishes. pay special attention to blending around the nose, mouth and jawline. set the foundation with loose powder immediately following application.

or foundation can be spot-applied to the areas where you need to even out your skin tone. remember to set your face with loose powder after application.

if you can, i would definately reccomend getting professionally colour-matched at a department store. make sure to check the foundation in natural light though. select a formula that is right for your skin type. people with dry skin should avoid wet/dry and stick foundations. people with oily skin should look for formulations that are oil-free and will need to powder after applying foundation.

another way is to dot foundation onto your face and then blend using a latex sponge. these are quite cheap and can be bought practically anywhere. these sponges allow for a polished, natural look. if you are allergic to latex, try using a natural sea sponge.

remember, foundation does NOT have to be applied all over your face. just target the problem areas. if you blend properly and have a foundation that properly matches your skin tone, you will not look blotchy.

LIPS:

the body shop do some great lipgloss and theyre really cheap too, that means you can buy more lol. they smell good enough to eat.

prepare your lips with a generous slick of lip balm in advance. nobody likes cracked and frayed lips, and in cold winter weather its important to take more care than usual. make sure that the lip balm has sunk a little before you go on to the next step, otherwise your lip liner won鈥檛 work.

get a natural lip liner, and carefully draw around the very rim of your lips. if you get a wobbly line, don鈥檛 panic, just carefully remove it and start again. when you have a firm line fill in the rest of your lips with the same colour.

then you can apply your lipgloss. again, keep the colour natural. forget lipstick that鈥檚 too dark or too light. one thing you鈥檝e gotta remember though, gloss looks better but doesn鈥檛 have the staying power of lippy. make sure you keep it in your purse and re-apply during the day.

then, if you want plumper lips, use your lip plumper. all you鈥檝e got to do, is dot a white shimmery product like eye shadow or an eyebrow highlighter in the very center of your lips. start slowly, and blend very carefully. what you are looking to achieve is natural looking shading, with your lip colour being lighter where your mouth opens. this will create the illusion of beautiful full lips.

EYES:

smokey eyes:

holding the skin of your upper lid taut, apply eyeliner from the inside corner of the eye outward. draw strokes into the lash line. the middle of the line should be a bit thicker than the edges. use a cotton swab (or your finger, if you're lazy like me) to ';smudge'; the liner.

dab an eyeshadow brush into a deep-hued eyeshadow and apply over the eyeliner to set the line. (blow on the brush first to remove any excess shadow). layering liner with a shadow is the secret to a perfect smoky eye.

blend shadow well, then follow with eyeshadow. colour should diffuse from rich and dark near the lashes to almost sheer as it extends to the crease.

bold, dramatic eyes:

bold eyes are a dramatic choice for evening. try eyeliner shades other than deep black for a super cool look. you can use either a liquid liner or try the makeup artist's trick and use an angled eyeshadow brush dipped in a deep-hued eyeshadow. skip the pencil for this look.

holding the skin of your upper lid taut, apply the liquid liner from the middle of the eye to the outside corner of the eye. draw a second line from the inside corner of your eye, letting the two lines meet. the outer edge of the line should be thicker than the inside. if you have close-set eyes, avoid taking the line all the way to the inside corner.

POWDER:

mineral make-up is great, i LOVE loreals true match minerals, i know its quite expensive but its really worth the money and that little pot lasts forever. it does reduce the ammount of spots you get as it doesnt clog the pores unlike most make-up. however, if you have dry skin it may not work for you. it can sometimes make dry skin look even dryer and a bit flakey. see if you can find sample pots (you can get these from alot of sites that ofer free samples) before you invest in a pot for yourself.

How do you apply make-up?

I want to know how to apply make up because I'm tired of only using eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara I want to do things like using powder foundation and concealer. I never find the right shade for my skin tone Fair is to light and the next shade up is to dark! so help me with my dilemma please! How do you apply make-up?
I understand your dilemma! Get the lightest foundation you can find and apply it lightly so it looks natural. Add blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara and you'll look stunning! How do you apply make-up?
there are 5 basic steps for a flawless make up.

1. clean you skin and apply moistening cream and make sure it dries completely.

2. apply a concealer that is the exact shade of your skin,( if you didn't know what to buy, try on a couple on you hand if it then its the color for you) blend it all over well. if you have any spots the concealer usually covers it but if you have red spots on your cheeks then try a light blue or green on the shade of your skin. you can use this for the under eye as well if there are dark patches.

3. Apply foundation cream, again the same shade of the concealer to avoid diffirence in appearance, then finish it up with loose powder again of the same shade of the foundation.

4. startapplyingng eye makeup by applying a light color over the eyelid and the blend in the darker shade of the color from the corner of the eye to up. after which apply the eye liner, if its in the morning apply a thin line on the top and bottom to give your eyes a bright and open look, if at night make the line darker and make the shadow a little darker. Apply mascara in the end after curlying them.

5. Finally apply blush to the apple of your cheeks and draw your lips with a pencil the same shade as your lip and apply the lipstick you prefer, at a night outing just add on a little colorless gloss on the middle of the lip to show volume and shine.
The key here, is to either change product range, as you will find a foundation to match your tone by doing this and/or blend two foundation colors together.

You may find that by applying the foundation using a brush, after 4 brush strokes, you find the color, does match. If it takes more than five brush strokes, it is for sure the wrong color.

Do not apply concealer until after you have applied foundation, 2. reasons. 1. A foundation will do a great job concealing and 2. you will as a result use less concealer and breathe more comfortably.

Also, try to use a primer before applying foundation, as this will also help your skin breathe.

When you come to the rest of your make up make sure you are using colors which work with your skin tone.

I have found the site below, has some great tips, with both text and video instruction
Find makeup that has lots of shades. Covergirl does but their makeup is a bit cheaply made so you might want to go for Revlon (also nice selection) Loreal true match or MAC of course. :) Revlon also has that new Custom Creations thing that works wonders for matching skin tones.

Figure out whether you are warm, neutral or cool toned. Cool is pinky toned, warm is yellowy, and neutral is pinky-yellow. If its too complicated on your own, go to a makeup consultant at the drugstore or at makeup kiosks in like Sears and ask them to colour match your foundation/concealer for you. I like Revlon Color Stay for foundation because its nice and matte and long lasting, also Loreal true match (as said above :)) and Covergirl Tru Blend Whipped Foundation. To apply, I recommend you use a foundation brush (you can buy them in a drugstore) and not a sponge. Sponges make foundation cakey and soak up half your product. Brushes achieve an even beautiful look.

For powder foundation, go for loose mineral powder with a brush. Powders that arent mineral have things like talc in them which arent great for your skin. Try Bare Escentuals Mineral Makeup, or for a cheaper option you can go with Loreal Bare Mineral Makeup, or Physicians Formula. If youre interested in natural makeup you can go with Organics (also made by Physicians Formula) Loose Powder (really nice on your skin) and for sale at like any drugstore or Walmart.

Anyways, hope that helped! Dont be afraid to try all sorts of different types of products (mousses, liquid and powder foundation) until you find the one that is right for you!
Here are some tips:

#1 try blending the two shades! Use a lighter coat if it's still to light and/or dark.

#2 put on concealer after the foundation. That works best!

#3 try going to a make-up professional (like one at Macy's) and they'll help you find the perfect shade.

#4 try doing a different brand of make-up. There are several different brands who have better (and more) shades to choose from. Just start at your nearest Rite Aid!

#5 try putting the foundation only where you really need it (like on your flaws). Sometimes doing it all over your face looks bad no matter what.

#6 if you look washed on, usually most shades do that. Try wearing blush to brighten up your tone!
This is my ';five minute face';:

1. Apply a liquid foundation all over my face.

2. Put on eyeliner and mascara

3. Apply lipstick.

4. Pat powder-makeup all over my face to ';set'; the makeup.
I use to have the same problem i didn't know how to use makeup at all but if you go on youtube and go to

How can I correctly apply my make-up without looking like a clown?

I use Bare Minerals. First I put on the Fairly Light Foundation. Then I use the Light Foundation as a concealer. After that I use Warmth and then I put on my mineral veil.

But sometimes it seems to cake up around my nose and forehead and I look like a clown. I can't stop wearing it because I like to cover up my acne.

Do you have any tips on how to fix this problem and possibly help me apply my makeup better? How can I correctly apply my make-up without looking like a clown?

i have a set of brushes!Survey: Ladies..when applying your make-up?
I use the applicators that come with the product. Except for the one that comes in the powder compacts. I'll use the one that came with it but I'll change it often.
Brushes and my fingers.I use the Bare Escentuals stuff, so I have those brushes.Wonderful stuff and sooo worth the money!!
I use my hands or those little brushes you can get.
Depends on the makeup. Sometimes I will use what came with it, but other times I will use either my hands or special brushes that i bought from sephora
Usually whatever comes with the make up.
i use a set of brushes, most of my eyeshadow and blush and bronzer didnt come with brushes so i had to buy some.
Depends....usually whatever comes with it.
My own set of brushes. You?
my wife uses another bodily utensil.

I don't mind a bit!!
I dont wear makeup
My wife uses my beard. I never get any respect.
I use my finger.

  • How do you apply Joker make-up with that cracked look from the new film?

I bought some halloween costume make-up to go as the Joker, but I don't know how to get that cracked, peeling look heath ledger had in the Dark Knight. Any advice? How do you apply Joker make-up with that cracked look from the new film?
what you can try to do is apply the white make up and black around your eyes before you go to sleep.. With the sweating and tossing and turning, I bet you'll get that really grungy, messed up look. Then apply the scars and red dye to your lips.

How do I apply my make-up if I'm wearing a navy blue dress and have a light-medium skin tone?

It is for my 8th grade promotion ceremony. Could you give me both a day and night look? How do I apply my make-up if I'm wearing a navy blue dress and have a light-medium skin tone?
    I'm in 8th too...

    For the day:

Wear your hair up in any style as long as its not a pony tail. [Go to any salon and they will do it for you or explain to you how to do it yourself]...

First: dust your face all over with bareminerals warmth bronzer but make sure not to put a lot on and use a big brush.

    http://www.bizrate.co.uk/cosmetics/oid490365070.html

Next: try wearing black eyeliner..this kind is great in black: http://www.bourjoisusa.com/eyes/liner/12

and you can usually buy it at any walgreens or make-up store in your area. Line the inside of the bottom of your eye until you get the desired thickness. Then use some mascara http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Mascara/volum-express-turbo-boost-washable-mascara.htm works great...go over your lashes a few times and whike they are wet try using an eyelash crimper to make them more defined or just use your fingers a little. Then use some lipgloss..any brand in a shimmery pink will do great. For day..don't go over board.

    At night..

Do all the same things on your face, and add different shades of blue for your eyeshadow. Any brand will do it but buy a turquoise, a navy, and something in between. Then apply the medium one on your eyelids, the dark one in the crease, and the lightest one buy your eyebrow. This should work great..and make sure to wear your hair down.

Hope this helps. How do I apply my make-up if I'm wearing a navy blue dress and have a light-medium skin tone?
Day: foundation and use a light pink blush with nude lip color..for your eyes use a nude tone and brown/black volumizing mascara www.physiciansformula.com is my favorite line

Night: use foundation as needed..go light pink blush again..and a nude lip color...eyes this time use a nude tone with a bit of glitter. apply navy liner pencil (NYC) to your top lash line only..but make sure its dark and to both ends..then use the mascara again (two coats) and curl your lashes..:)
night i would suggest a beige shimmer /matte cheek highlighter for the cheek bones, which you can find at any drugstore makeup company, this along with a nude lip colour, and the navy colour eyeshadow not too much though and then with the usual mascara, eyeliner

day: i suggest something just as subtle maybe using a gloss on the lips and no shimmer for the cheek bones, i would suggest a light powder, a natural colour rosy pink perhaps or a tan colour might work better, if you hose tan light eye make up with the a tan colour, or a powder blue,

    i hope that helps

Do u think i should let mi natural beauty show or should i apply make-up?

Mi style is latino or wild or hip-hop so wat do u think?Do u think i should let mi natural beauty show or should i apply make-up?
Well natural beauty is a great thing, but it's also okay to add a little makeup every now and then. Just don't let your makeup make you look like a clown.Do u think i should let mi natural beauty show or should i apply make-up?
If you honestly think that you are truly beautiful, than you should share that beauty with the rest of the world!
Whatever you think is best for you. However, if you decide to wear makeup, go as natural as you can. Use almay's line for your eyes, loreal's ture match for the rest of your face. Only put on as much makeup as you want, but the key to makeup is that you try to look as natural as possible. Makeup should enhance your face, not change it.

Also, dont freak out about how much makeup you apply. I use at least 15 diffrent types of makeup, 5 or 6 diffrent brushes, and I have a whole skin care thing to make sure that I always look young. No one can tell that I wear makeup (unless I put on lipstick instead of lipgloss) and everyone freaks out when they find out that I wear even a small amount of makeup. Some people think that in order to look natural, you only need two things of makeup, but in reality you need to use diffrent things to blend it in with your skin so that there is no diffrence between your skin and the makeup.

If you want any tips, links, or anything else just email me at kdomagala@sbcglobal.net or send me a message. My AIM is Lactating Dragon.

    Good luck!
those woman above give great tips about make up and plus you can go to your local mall and at department stores they can give you make up tips and what to wear and sephora is great store and no it is not department store but it is store just not beauty stuff like make up and skincare and if you have one near you they can give you a free make over and you buy the stuff on line too i have used it and it is good stuff but it is little pricey but totally worth it
both. makeup should be worn to enhance what you already have and conceal flaws and imperfections. play up your natural beauty!!
Make-up doesn't have to cover your natural beauty and shouldn't. Make-up should enhance and draw attention to it! Go light with your make-up..focus on either your eyes, your lips or your cheekbones. A Mary Kay beauty consultant can help you with what's best for you!!
    natural beauty is the best
naturale baby ...you will appreciate this move as age sets it
if u think u are beautifull u dont need make up but if u want to feel better about urself use it

    its up to u
I'm into the same style as you. You can apply a little make-up but not to much.

I mostly apply a little eye shadow and some clear or colored lip gloss. It always goes for me.
keep your natural beauty but if you are going to wear makeup keep it simple just a little lipgloss and mascara or something the key is to keep it natural
natural but if u were to apply makeup make it so the colors are neutral not to dramatic like browns and stuff.

    How to Apply Make Up?

I'm 14 and I want to learn how to apply make up. like how to make your eyes intense. And if there are any tips or websites I can go to.How to Apply Make Up?
I just found this great video on youtube yesterday with easy makeup tips. There's 3 parts to it, so you might have to search a little.

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=pXLEZW8W4PkHow to Apply Make Up?
The best way to make your eyes stand out is to use a good mascara that will lengthen and thicken...try L'oreal Voluminous mascara. Another technique would be called tightlining which is a method of lining the eyes. It's better to use a gel liner like MAC Fluidline but a pencil will work also. Instead of lining your lids above the lashes...use your other hand to slightly lift your lids while looking down into a mirror. Take the brush or pencil and line the small strip of exposed skin right below the lashes and try to press as much color as possible into the lash root. This trick is amazing because it does not look like you have any makeup or liner on but it gives your lashes a very intense and dark look. good luck
since you're still a bit young..a lot of eye makeup isn't the best way to go..you want to look like you're not wearing much at all and you definitely want to look your age and still show of your natural beauty..definitely start out with a good cleanser and a moisturizer with SPF..SUN PROTECTION IS KEY...if you're skin looks good then your makeup will look good...i say a very light foundation that's not too heavy would be the best or a tinted moisturizer with SPF like the one cover girl makes..use a very little bit at a time so it's not too heavy..a little bit of powder and once again use a small amount..a little mascara and maybe a baby pink lip gloss...if you want to go a bit further you can use just a tad of eyeliner and if you're going to use eyeliner go with a dark brown one just on the top lashline..dark brown eyeliner looks most natural on all skin types..black may be a bit too harsh on you considering your age especially if you apply it too thickly..i hope this helps you out :]..always remember if you're confident with yourself then you won't need much makeup to get noticed or to feel beautiful :]
wooooooooooooooooooow, you don't know how? must I go over the steps?

You take the brush and spread it in the powder, apply to the eyelids, thats eyeshadow

for eyeliner line the eyes with the pencil!

for blush dip the thing in the powder and apply to the cheeks

for mascara! wipe upwards with the brush, which you have dipped into the bottle, lip liner-you line those lips! and lipstick, make the shape of your lips with the stick and fill them in, don't go out of the lines, has your mother never taught you these things? I taught myself
go to a nice dept store and get a make over and they can show you how to properly apply makeup
Mac ha the best make-up so try these

well you might need more sleep. but to cover up the bags concealer is your best friend. and there is no need to feel ugly, you are probably just tired and need to restIn grade 7-8 i would apply make-up and baby powder under my eyes now at 16 i have eye bags wat can i do?
More sleep of course is the obvious answer, and I'm sure you know that, but I have also heard that drinking water helps. You should also get some under eye concealer, I know you say you have done it in the past, but the trick is to tap it onto your skin, instead of rubbing, for better coverage.
It sounds gross, but Hemmroid cream.

And put some spoons in the freezer and then put them under your eyes

Is it best to re-apply make up without taking off or take it off then redo it?

I am going to a party and i want my makeup to look fresh but for some reason when I take off my mascara and all my other make up then redo it, it normally looks not as good. any suggestions? Is it best to re-apply make up without taking off or take it off then redo it?
i just apply something light in the morning for class and then finish off with something that is better. then u dont have to take it off. and if u go to school in sweats u dont outdress ur face...lol guilty! Is it best to re-apply make up without taking off or take it off then redo it?
just wash your face and apply more.
You should take off the makeup and wash your face. It will help the makeup go on smoother. Just take your time and it will look great.
No. You will get irritations (if not already, eventually) and minor skin problems if you do that too much. The best thing to do--even if it takes a little bit of time--is to wash your face before bed until all your makeup comes off, and then reapply it as much as you want in the morning. When I was young I wanted the effect of smokey eyes so I left my black eyeliner on over night and just put on a thin line over the smeary black in the morning. It looked good, but it clogged my pores. And, even thought it doesn't seem like this would actually happen, makeup such as eyeliner, mascara, and eye shadow, eventually end up on your nose and in the creases of your face if left on for over one or two days, leaving you with clogged pores, black heads and zits. I'd say just stick with taking off makeup with a makeup remover you like before bed and then starting fresh in the morning. There are ways with shadows and toners that you can give your face the preferred effect of day-old makeup.

    Hope this helps.
When I get home, I take all my eye makeup off with Vaseline... it works like magic I promise!! Then I use Dove facial clothes, I really like them because they take all the makeup off, but you can use any cleanser. Then I tone, and moisturize... then my face is good to get made up again for going out! Good luck!!!

    Have fun at the party!!!!
Before you go to the party take some time on your makeup to be sure it looks perfect. When re-applying at a party, it will never look as good as when you walked in but just re-apply without taking any off. You would rather have your face looking a little less than perfect and still have gorgeous eyes for people to focus on.

    How to apply make-up properly?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVKj3BRY_鈥?/a>How to apply make-up properly?
Get a foundation Elizabeth Arden is best and spread it on your face evenly make sure there are no line so make sure you go over your jaw line the buy a concealer and put it over your bags (which i have to) with a make up brush.

Put eyeliner on your lower lid black for dark eyes and brown for light eye colors.

Bad Gal massacra is the best massacra because it looks natural and very easy to apply. When you take the brush out of the massacra lean it against the sides as you pull it out so when you apply it doesn't clump then open your eyes and lift the brush upwards against your top eyelashes do this about twice first the middle of your eye then do you bottom lashes don't make them to long.

Use a cotton bud and eye make up remover over your eyebrows.

Then finish with a clear lip gloss. Only go a shade darker in foundation not orange or to dark or light. Over time you will learn more make secrets and soon perfect your own look.
Ok well with the concealer just dab it on blemishes and dot under the eyes then rub it in. Next apply foundation preferbly liquid and if you want put a touch of powder on top. For mascara comb the eyelashes with the brush and keep dping this till they appear longer. Then lift the upper eye up and there is a white line from where the eyelashes grow from this is called the upper water line get a kohl penil and draw a line on that. if not use liquid eyeliner on the top of the lid just above the yelashes. lastly add some blusher to the cheeks. Smile and the cheeks with be pronounced and follow the line. Add a touch of lipgloss and your'e ready to go. Good luck girlfriend xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

STEPS for applying MAKE UP :O !!?

haha This is how I do my everyday school ';makeup';. After taking a shower I grab a bit of moisturizer cream, then I apply concealer (bc I have bad dark circles...) then I apply foundation, then mascara, then blush and seal it with powder...

    IS THAT OK??

    IM 16 BTW =P

THANKZZ.. ANY SUGGESTIONS?STEPS for applying MAKE UP :O !!?
Sounds good to me, but a tip is that you set the powder over the foundation first and THEN apply the blush over that and you can always add a tad bit of powder over that jus to make it last extremely long/all day. When you apply the blush onto the foundation it doesn't look as well or last as long as it does when you put it over a powder. Try it and good luck!STEPS for applying MAKE UP :O !!?
Your 16 geez you need some eyeliner and lip glosss
    perfect.

i put blush before mascara but that is ok.
Thank you I needed that steps and i think it is ok
    yes, that's fine.

What is the correct order to apply make-up?

1.I have oily skin. so what kind of foundation should I use : powder, liquid, moose, what?

2.does the concealer go on before the foundation?

    3. what type of concealer should I use: stick, liquid, ect ect. ( keep in mind I have oily skin)

4.what is the best way to apply concealer, and foundation?: brush, fingers, sponge, ect, ect?

please make sure you read ALL question. Thank you so much. What is the correct order to apply make-up?
    1. powder

    2. you can do it first or after whatever you feel comfortable with. keep i mind foundation is for ppl that need cover like bad acne. concealer is just a few bumps.

3.stick so then you can keep it with you to make touch up in the day just take it out of your purse like lip stick and touch up if it runs or doesn't stay on

4.i would say like the cotton sponges

What is the correct order to apply make-up?
With oily skin you're better to choose water based makeups and powders with mineral oils; they absorb and last longer.

If I were you... got to your local shoppers drug mart or dept store makep counter, they'll give you a full free demo (and application) of the best techniques for your face. Depending on blemishes, dark circles, pore size and all other things, they will tell you the best tools to use specifically for you.

Set it up for an afternoon where you'll have your face done and then a night out with friends or family looking glam!
    1. powder

    2. generally concealer goes on first some people like doing it after. I vote first though

    3. I use liquid because creams tend to look cakey on me

    4. I apply concealer with a brush but blend it out with fingers. I do the same with foundation.

there's no right or wrong way to apply makeup, just do what works.
I agree with the first girls answers EXCEPT concealer should always go on AFTER foundation. The reason why is concealer is so much heavier than foundation and once you put on your foundation, you might not even NEED the concealer.

    1. Powder.

    2. Yes.

    3. Stick

    4. Sponge.

    Hope we helped ;);)

Can anyone tell me how to apply Make Up perfectly?

E.g, Foundation, powder, bronzer, mascara, eyeliner. Could you also give a step by step application and how much of each should be applied... I am asking because I want to compare with how i do my make up, and to see what i am doing wrong and could do better. ThanksCan anyone tell me how to apply Make Up perfectly?
To apply Foundation ';perfectly'; you should invest in a foundation brush. The brush helps the foundation to blend easily (no more lines on the jaw). Your also painting the foundation on, so it will last a lot longer.

So put a 10 cent piece size amount of foundation on the back of your hand. Grab the brush and load it up with the foundation.

Start wherever you want and bland all over well. Make sure you blend into the jaw line.

You need a decent sized brush for your powder. Load your brush up with your powder of choice and grab a tissue. Once you have the product on your brush, use your tissue to clean off the excess. Apply evenly all over the face. Including your neck.

Bronzer- Use a smaller brush and apply where the sun naturally hits. Do a C from the outer edge of your eyebrow to the apple of your cheek.

Mascara- Do the front and back of your lashes. Apply from the root to tip of eye lash.

Eyeliner- If you have small eyes or close set eyes only apply eye liner to the puter edge of the eye. If you have wide set or large eyes. You can apply eyeliner to your water line and all over the eye area!!!!Can anyone tell me how to apply Make Up perfectly?

    Applying Make Up?

Im nearly 13 and I don't usually like applying blusher and I usually apply a bit of bronzer. Do I have to apply blusher? My usual routine if I'm in a bit of a hurry is lip balm then lip gloss over the top, a bit of clear mascara, a bit of bronzer if I'm going out in the evening or if it's a sunny day, sometimes eyeliner and sometimes eyshadow if I can find the right shade to match my outfit. Is this ok or do I need to put more stuff on or if I do that, will it look like I've tried too hard?Applying Make Up?
No that's fine what your doing hun,if u got bronzer u don't need blusher.but if ur going out here's a tip never ever match your eyeshadow with your out fit.I went to college to do beauty therapy and its the first thing they teach you.Hope that helpsApplying Make Up?
Sweetheart, the whole point of make up is to cover or enhance things but the whole makeup thing is to look like you are NOT wearing anything! At 12-13 I'm sure your skin is beautiful. You have a lifetime do use more as age sets in. Just use the lip gloss and take joy in the fact that you look fantastic and don't NEED to wear any makeup!
Make up should enhance your existing features, not create new ones.
i think for your age a bit of eyeshadow and lip gloss will do.
You should really limit the amount of make up you wear. You are young and I am sure have beautiful skin and don't even need make up.

Take advantage of not having to wear much and enjoying your natural features! Soon enough you will be thrown into the world of cosmetics, so wait til then to do the make up.
13 is not too young to wear makeup at all! You don't have to use blush. Bronzer is fine and it matches your skin tone, hair color and clothing because it is neutral and natural. You aren't using too much. But, play with it and use different amounts and colors for different events. It's fun to play and experiment so you know what you like to do in your routine, and what you'd like to change. It's a girl's prerogative to be able to enjoy the fun of makeup!
If it fits ur facial appearance, so needless of applying more than what u used to apply. thanks.
Sweetie you're only 13 and make up shouldn't even be something to worry about at this time in your life. However, if you just want to wear it, I suggest that you tone down the make up that you're applying.

Buy a loose powder foundation that is identical to your skin's complexion, as well as a rich moisturizer for your skin type. What you want to do is wash your face, use a toner (never an astringent), then mix a little powder foundation with your moisturizer and apply it evenly to your face. What you've just made was a DIY tinted moisturizer. Next use a little mascara in almost black or have fun and try navy blue to make your eyes pop. Apply a nice pink eyeshadow suitable for your complexion, preferably one with flecks of gold in it, and a nice neutral lip gloss. That's it! I guarantee you you'll look great and will have more time to focus on what you're going to wear (smile).
what you do is perfect but use dark eye shadows at night time light ones at day time.
    Tips for good makeup

    http://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1713.鈥?/a>
Don't put on anymore than what you've listed. You can alternate what you have so it won't heavy. So if your face is a bit pale one day you can just use blush and then your lipgloss if you want to look a little bit more together then you can put eyeliner. You can use the bronzer though if you want to look like you just came from the beach but real lightly. If you can find a coordinating lip gloss and shadow that looks nice and simple but pretty. Don't put it all the way up to your eyebrow just over the crease and blend the line. Hope this helped. You can email me :)if you need some more help
Put on some blusher, not too much though! When you where eyeliner always where eye shadow or eyeliner on the top of your eye. I always go with brown eye shadow, no matter what I wear.
don't use anymore than you need to. you seem to have a created a natural look that suits you. putting on heavier make-up will not make you look older but more like you've gone mad in your mum's make-up drawer. keep it very simple and don't use what you don't need. i very rarely use blusher as i have good skin tone and bone structure. it can make me look like i've been slapped so i don't bother. choose eyeshadow to complement your skin colour and eyes..it will go with any outfit. focus on your eyes or your lips never both or your face will look flat. white eyeliner on the inner rim of the eye is very flattering and will make your eyes extra-sparkly.
keep what youve got you want to look effortlessly nice at your age
use what you feel comfortable with you are only young and using to much make up can damage your skin by blocking the pours and leaving dry patches - i would suggest using what you already do
No, your not trying hard. Personally I prefer a girl wearing make-up. It makes you more beautiful. Make-up makes you smell good too. And it boost your sex appeal. Ofcourse it also makes you look more mature.
you dont have to apply blusher, but if you want to you can experiment and put some on the apples of your cheecks and see if you like it (to find your apples , smile and apply to the rounded area at the front). I think it looks horrible if young girls wear too much make up so no i don't think you need anymore, my little sister is thirteen and she wears about as much as you, i think it's about right!
DO NOT APPLY MORE!! you are only 12!! too young for so much make up
    ok so u r nearly 13 ,, u don't have to use make up at all ,

but if you just want to use make up ,, for ur age i guess and eye shadow and a lip stick is pretty much enough that's if u ae planning to go on evening but if you want to go out ,,like hang out with ur peeps on a sunny dAY just use a lip stick ,, eye liner would be nice ,, for all occaisions , but keep it simple GIRL ..
I think what you have said is perfect,

What is a good moisturize to use before you apply make-up?

i dont want anything to oily or greasy. What is a good moisturize to use before you apply make-up?
There are many moisturizers out there that you van use...but the thing is you shouldn't use too much just for the fact that your base probably has moisturizers in it already. You also can use a mild soap when you wash your face so you can keep some moisture in your pores.--SirenWhat is a good moisturize to use before you apply make-up?

Aveeno, or Jergens. Well for african americans like us. I would say, African oil. Not too much, and not to little bit. I don't know or maybe ponds.
I'm also an Olay fan. I have dry skin, but it smooths without leaving me feeling oily.

I think we read to much into things we all need our make up our legs waxed and our eyebrows plucked. but the thing is we would look fine if no other women was doing it and we would not think about how men see us I think we would like bad but then again some women don't do any of these things and they are happy with them self's I think that's what it is about being happy with yourself

i would look the same. leg hair on women is not as noticable as leg hair on men so, there really isn't any difference from shaving, with the exception of the feel. i don't pluck my eyebrows, just get them shaped up a little once in a while. and i don't wear make up. if you had never seen me before, you really wouldn't be able to tell the difference, seeing as there wouldn't be much.
Just as beautiful, well without the make up anyway, I don't like unkempt eyebrows or hairy armpits/legs, I have dark hair so I have to wax etc.
    We would look like BABOUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The question is not really what we would look like, because it is quite easy to imagine, but would you like that???

And a question of my own:

Would you agree on both quiting our hair removal????

You hairy, me hairy, no big deal!!!!!!

    (lets start with this!!!)
dont wear alot of make up anyway, but my eyebrows and my leg hair......ugh!!no way-id probably look like an ape!!

that a good point- probably like men.

    awful!!!
Probably like one of those Eastern European athletes from the 80's
Go and watch ';Planet of the Apes';, ti's self explanatory.
hairy like men but we smell better
well if most women didnt start shaving in the first place then we would look ok, but if uve shaved for a very long time OH GOD!!! Especially if you were pretty hairy to begin with!!!

Guess you would just look like a very hairy gorilla! lol

If youve waxed for so long, u might still be hairy but less hairy than you started off with since waxing makes regrowth thinner so you could still potentially look ok

Personally i dont pluck eyebrows or apply make up very often so id look much the same face wise :) :) im pretty low maintenance, i like it that way cz its easier for the lazy person that i am plus well i know the guy likes me for me rather haivng to put in the effort all the time....

like you. i mean like mens :)
hehe like a yeti just be grateful we do! doesnt hurt for you men to do some maintenance too you know? ;)

I know alot of youtubers have alot of video's on how to do makeup.

you have a variety of makeup styles to choose from.. so they are pretty good.

Also I think Elle girl does video's with proffesional makeup stylists showing you how to get a certain look.

but I think the best way to do it is to experiment on make up yourself..

    have a night in.

have a mirror infront of you and alot of makeup and makeup wipes..

always remember to look after your skin..

and just put on different makeup and look at styles you like and try to copy. after a while you'll get good at it and you'll find your look :)
    teach urself.

    its really fun actually...

you'll find a style that you like.

    how to liquid eyeliner -

    1. Liquid eyeliner comes in a bottle rather like ink, and you must use a separate brush to apply. The best result will come from a point liner brush.

    2. It is natural to close your eye as you draw the line, but if you keep it open, it will actually make it easier to follow the curve of your lid and thus have a straighter line.

    3. You do not need to try and paint a continuous line with liquid eyeliner. It is actually easier to pain a few small dashes onto the lash line, eg. Inner corner, middle and outer corner, then go back and connect them.

    4. If you want a thicker line than this initial thin one, build it up gradually. Start at the middle of the lash line and draw towards the outer corner. You can extend the line slightly past the outer corner of your eyelid if you wish.

    how to apply lipstick -

    1. Know your lips! This sounds foolish but it's very true. Understand which shades, kinds, and brands your lips prefer. Also take into account what kind of skintone you have. Pale-skinned people look very good with light, glossy colors and perhaps a little blush, moderate-skinned people look good with muted colors (bland pinks and even browns), and dark-skinned people look great with gold browns and even nude pinks. It can vary, however, so find a shade that matches you.

    2. Once you've found a color that suits you, find a lipliner that is slightly darker than the lipstick. Lipliner is more important that one might assume because it creates a sort of foundation for the lipstick and can blend well. It also creates the illusion of plumper lips for those with thin ones.

    3. Now that you've got everything that you need, you can start. It's important that you soften your lips and remove dead flakes, for these can ruin your lips. If you have chapped lips, exfoliate by making a paste of sugar (not salt!) and water and GENTLY scrub your lips. After, fold a tissue in half and dampen it with water, then rub a little Vaseline on them. Squeeze this between your lips for 30 seconds, or as long as you can.

    4. Rub the excess Vaseline off with the back of your hand or your finger and try to get as much as you can off. Now start filling in your lips with lipliner from the edges to the center. If you have thin lips, you can color a little outside of the edge to fakely 'plump' your lips.

    5. Next, apply the lipstick. This title is a little misleading in that it doesn't only tell you how to apply lipstick, but this step shows you how. Apply thin coats; just one or two sweeps over your lips. After that, if desired, apply a little more. Less is more when it comes to lipstick, because greased-up lips are not only unnattractive, but tend to rub off easily.

    6. When you're done, blot with the back of your hand. Apply gloss if desired, and voila!

    how to apply blusher -

Oval: Sweep color up toward your temples, like a Nike swoosh.

Round: Add definition by applying blush at a 45-degree angle, following your cheekbones.

Square: To soften your jaw line, apply blush in small circles, focusing on the apples of your cheeks.

Long: Balance out length with more horizontal strokes of blush. Keep the strokes wide and blend well to avoid the “warpaint” look.

How soon can i apply make up to a laceration.?

I HAVE A LACERATION ON MY NOSE THAT HAS STERI STRIPS ON IT. IT LOOKS REALLY TERRIBLE AND I WANT TO PUT SOME MAKEUP ON IT TO COVER THE BRUISING BUT OF COURSE I'M WORRIED ABOUT INFECTION.I WANT TO KNOW HOW SOON CAN I PUT MAKE UP ON IT I KNOW IT NEEDS TO CLOSE UP FIRST THOUGH. I WAS THINKING MAYBE I CAN GET THE LIQUID BAND AID AND PUT IT ON THERE THEN PUT MY STERI STRIPS AND THEN MAKEUP ONCE THE WOUND CLOSES. WHAT DO U THINK HELPHow soon can i apply make up to a laceration.?
The steri-strips are holding the laceration together..don't take them off!

Steri strips will help you to heal properly and with much less of a scar.

I suggest you wait otherwise you could cause the laceration to reopen or you could get it infected.

Steri strips or not...Vain or not....How would you like to have a ugly scar and or part of your nose gone due to infection.

I would not like the brusing etc but I would hate a ugly scar worse. How soon can i apply make up to a laceration.?
Wait till it heals for sure.

  • Applying make-up?

my mom bought this old movie about applying make-up and it said you should never match your make-up with your clothes is this still true or is it okay now a days.Applying make-up?
As long as the colors go well, then there should be no problem,...It's all about what you like and what looks good on you. Don't look at makeup on other people and think that that is the way it will look on you,..because it probably won't. Try it out for yourself,...just experiment at home and come up with the best look for you.Applying make-up?
It really depends on what outfit you're wearing. If you are going to wear something orange, for example, you definitely don't want to have orange eyeshadow, lipstick, and blush, or you'll look like a weird pumpkin! What you can do is pick ONE of your facial features to accent, and play it up (i.e. eyes = orange shadow in the crease of your lid, or in the corners) or do some glitter along your temples or cheekbones if you're going out at night.

Also, if you want to try to match, try to do a blend of similar colors. For instance, if you're wearing a light blue shirt, try to blend a deep blue shadow with turquoise and add some white to brighten your eye. :)
its ok to match just your eyeshadow with your clothes if you want to.
It's very tacky to match make up%26amp;clothes.I suggest you don't.
you should definitely consider what you're going to wear, but don't match it exactly.

For example, don't wear a red top and then put on orange or hot pink lipstick (actually, don't wear orange or hot pink lipstick ever!) ;)

just figure out what looks best on you and then you can make minor adjustments for what you're wearing.
i think its ok, both ways, to match and not to match.
Read some useful make up tips on this site to help you
I don't we have to still match our clothes. I think it's pretty much whatever you want today.
It is not ok. It is tacky and gross. You need to see what goes good with your skin and your eyes.
good question.. but really who cares if it is ';in fashion'; it's about what works for you and that's it we are all different so what works or looks good on me, may not be the same for you... which is great cause then we would all look alike... :) i think what ever you like is good, i'll match my eyeshadow to my shirt if it's evening time.... and add some glitter, like your going out to the movies on the weekend with some freinds... but if your going shopping keeping it simple. just never highlight your eyes and you lips at the same time, if you like wearing dark eyeliner then dont wear bold lipstick and if you like the red lipstick then go really light on the eyes... a quick tip i learned.. for school pictures or any pictures that you can prepare your self for i found a trick that i used in my senior picture and i take really bad pictures.. but go a very neutrel shade on the eye (one that matches your skin tone), with mascar on the top only! do not use eyeliner and a shiny lips gloss, with a hint of color if you like, this will keep your face looking brighter mainly around the eye area which it the area most girls/woman have problems with. it really did work or try it out with a friend and see the difference.... and maybe you could ask your mom to take you to the department store to see current tips on applying makeup.... another tip.. the point of putting on make up is so you look like your not wearing it!!!! :)
Well it depends how much of it you match.....Orange top, orange shadow, orange lipstick, orange blush....a BIG no no......Orange top, orange lipgloss, fine. It's great to match, but in moderation!!!

    GOOD LUCK!
match means similar. dont select same color but matching.

    Help on applying make-up?

Hey guys! Okay, being the curious tomboy that I am, on multiple occasions I've tried applying make-up by myself but I always end up looking like a clown! Can you please help me? Tips? Advice? Anything please.Help on applying make-up?
    Step 1

Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than your foundation. Dot it on over any blemishes or under-eye circles and blend with your fingertips or a makeup sponge. If your concealer tends to cake, apply eye cream first.

    Step 2

Choose foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. Apply it in dots over the central part of your face, then blend it out with a makeup sponge or your fingertips until it covers your entire face

    Step 3

Use a loose or pressed powder to keep foundation and concealer on longer. Use pressed powder to touch up when you're away from home.

    Step 4

Do your eyebrows next. Use powdered eyebrow shadow on brows instead of pencil, which can often look unnatural. Apply it with a hard, slanted brush.

    Step 5

Choose three colors of eye shadow: light, medium and dark. Use the dark only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease and the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. There are many variations on eye shadow application techniques (see Related eHows).

    Step 6

Apply eyeliner. Use a cake eyeliner with a damp, thin liner brush, or an eyeliner pencil, and line the lower lid below the lashes. Line only the outer two-thirds of the lower lid, or all the way across if you're trying to achieve a darker look. Line all the way across the upper lid (just above the lash line and as close to the lashes as possible), or start the line where your lashes begin.

    Step 7

Apply mascara to upper and lower lashes, in two thin coats to avoid clumpiness. Choose brown mascara if your coloring is fair; black or brown-black works well for darker coloring. Or try a colored mascara such as navy or plum for fun, but don't go too bright if you want to be taken seriously.

    Step 8

Smile to find the apples of your cheeks, and apply blush to the apples or below, whichever you prefer. If you have to blend in blush, it's too bright.

    Step 9

Choose a lipstick color that's suited to your skin tone and that's perfect for your day look. You can mix colors and textures to suit your moods and your outfits (see Related eHows).

    Step 10

Line lips after applying lipstick, not before. That way you won't end up with a dark circle of lip liner after your lipstick has worn off. Avoid combining very dark lip liner and pale lipstick.

    Tips %26amp; Warnings

    *

Follow the steps in the order given, and remember to clean and moisturize your face before applying makeup.

    *

Choose brighter or darker tones for a stronger look.

    *

Clean makeup brushes by gently washing them in warm water and mild gel shampoo. Air-dry them overnight.

    *

Don't skimp on makeup tools. High-quality tools make application easier and faster.

    *

If you decide to curl your eyelashes, do this just before applying mascara, never after. Insert your eyelashes into the curler, squeeze just once, and hold for a few seconds.

    *

Bacteria can grow in older cosmetics, which can lead to infections. Be on the safe side: Toss anything that's seems old, especially mascara, and avoid sharing products with others.Help on applying make-up?
well for starters, try more natural toned makeup, colors that would blend in with your skin such as browns and golds. Try sweeping a paler shade of brown across your lids up to your crease, then a darker shade of brown on the outer corners of your lids. And a little bit of gold along your crease. Be sure that the colors are blended in so that you don't see any harsh shadow lines. Add 2 to 4 coats of mascara on your lashes. This will make your eyes pop. (You can try curling your lashes too with an eyelash curler if you wan to go for the full effect) If you want to try eyeliner (which I would recommend), I would start out by using a pencil liner because it is easier to use than a liquid liner. Just pencil in the top of your lids right along your upper lashline and pencil in the water line at the bottom of your eyes.

For your skin you can use foundation (either liquid or powder) to cover up blemishes if you feel like you want to. A little bit of blush goes a long way too. Just smile and apply the blush where the apple of your cheeks appear.

For you lips, try using a light pink or nude colored lipgloss.

    Hope I helped (:
if u r fair, try pale pink or peachy beige gloss on lips. apply a soft rose-brown blush on cheeks. go for brown eyeliner/mascara with tan or pale pink eye shadow.

if u r medium, u can choose anything frm peach to a berry or raisin shade of lipstick, covered with a sheer layer of gloss. apply warm rose or bronze blush on cheeks. use a deep purple or brown eyeliner with black mascara %26amp; complement them with a mocha or plum shadow.

if u r dark, try a lipstick in pinkish brown, dark berry, or burgundy, covered in a sheer layer of gloss. apply a cinnamon or burgundy blush on cheeks. go for rich brown or black eyeliner with matching mascara. as for eye shadow, u have a medal-worthy range of options, including shimmery gold, silver, or bronze.

How do I apply make-up to cover my puffy eye bags and dark circles?

im a pro at this. lol

I have the WORST dark circles!

take a yellow tinted concealor stick(its eliminates dark circles like green concealor eliminates red spots-oppisite on teh color wheel) and apply it under your eye and above your eye. My rule of thumb is go your whole eye socket. BUT dont glob it on. Pat it on.Get as close as you can to your upper and lower lashes without touching them. its best to use a brush or a Qtip for that.

Get a transparent powder and use a small clean makeup brush to apply it over where you put your concealor.

Again get as close as you can to the lash lines.

*Make sure when puttin the concealor and powder on you dont neglect your inner and outter corner of your eyes. thats a huge deal.

    * also do the same up to your brown bone

to make it really pop use a silvershadow in the corners of your eyes-lightly-in the area where youd put the eye liner.

that makes the whites of your eyes look whiter. How do I apply make-up to cover my puffy eye bags and dark circles?

    take her to sephora.

im bias because i work there. lol.

tell the consultant exactly what you want and dont want her to wear and let them show her how to apply the makeup. its easier to learn how to do it hands on and in person rather than a video.

the consultant shouldn't overdo it make sure you tell them that you want a age appropriate look for her.

if you don't have a sephora.. take her to ulta or some other beauty store that varies the brands they carry so she will have a larger selection.
    www.youtube.com is the best.

Do you know any books or videos on How to Apply Make-Up?

I thought I saw one advertised on how to apply make-up like the stars but i can't find it. Even if you know of a good website that would be great.

(Thanks to everyone who answers)Do you know any books or videos on How to Apply Make-Up?
I am not sure about books or videos but a better investment would be to have an actual person SHOW you how to do it. Making an appointment with a Mary Kay lady for example is fun for you and you can have friends do it too. Plus the person will be able to help you find colors that are good for you.Do you know any books or videos on How to Apply Make-Up?
Chanel.com, it will show a product, then teach you exactly how to apply it. It is stuff like foundation and eyeshadow, stuff we can afford. So use your own products, but use their applications.
most of your little teen magazines will provide you with step by step instructions. you can even find things online by googling what youre looking for.
Kimora Lee Simmons=Fabulostiy, Iman=The Beauty of Color, Cindy Crawford=The Basic Face. Teen Magazines-seventeen,teen people,Dolly,gf. A great one is makeup makeovers-robert jones. I know marie claire wrote a book or sumthn 2. check out your library also bobbi brown has 2 one for teens and women. vogue has a couple books 2
check your library... usually you can find something there.. also check the make up sites... maybelline, cover girl etc... do a google search ... search amazon.com avon.com mary kay.com too... you can use either one of those to set an appointment for someone to come to you and show you how to apply... same thing at department stores... sears, jc penney, dillards etc....
'make up made easy' Barbra daley
id ck with your local librery they can tell you where the instruction books for makeup is do not i repeat do not use mary kay my sisterin law did for her wedding we all looked like clowns ended up cancling the ck she wrote mary kay and having my mom and sister do all of our make up
there are books like bobbi brown or you can get bare minerals tapes...look for tips on covergirl.com or any makeup places
Try websites of well known make up brands like chanel, lorealparis and rimmellondon.com is my fave cos you can try out makeup on your own picture or on different models.

    Have fun!

Applying make up highlighter plz help!?

Hi! Just wanted to ask those people who have experience or know how to apply make up high lighters? I mean you can't just apply them on your face the way you apply foundation and concealer can you? So how do you apply it and on which parts of the face. Note: I use concealer and liquid foundation with no skin problems but I just want to add more glow to my skin. Thanks!Applying make up highlighter plz help!?
well u just put some on top of your cheek bones and nose and a little eyeshadow highlighter brush would work any type of brush will work just don't get it to dark or you will look plasticApplying make up highlighter plz help!?
i have like a highlighter stick which i dab over my cheekbones and down my nose. u dont need anymore than that or else u will just look silly!!

    xxxx
I sometimes mix my foundation and highlighter together to give my skin a dewy glow. I use Benefit's High Beam. What kind of highlighter are you using? If you're not using something too frosty or sparkley you could get away with mixing it in.

How can i perfectly apply make up? steps?

I always look like a ho or something when i put on make up, can u give me steps on how to look good when i put on make up like

    1. put on concealor

    2. Lipgloss

or something like that, i have ALL make up so yeah dont try to impervise or anything and just so it looks good!!How can i perfectly apply make up? steps?
first, you have to make sure your face is properly cleansed, toned and moisturised before you start with any make up. a well moisturised face is also a better 'canvas' for the make up to stay on.

if you're having a problem with dull skin, put on violet make up base. if you're having reddish tone, choose green. uneven skin tone, take yellow.(this is for fair asian skin tone only, i think.) after the make up base, put on concealor and foundation. if you're using liquid foundation, conceal after and also brush on loose powder in a downwards motion to set your foundation. if you're using powder foundation, conceal before. if you realised that your foundation is too heavy, pat on some toner with a cotton pad. if you so happens to have horrendous under eye circle(like me) you may wanna try colour corrector in shades of yellow or blue to minimise the bluish colouration.

after the basic, i would move to my eyes. i dont use eyeshadow, but if you do, do your eyeshadow first before lining your eyes. after lining, curl your lashes and brush on mascara on both your upper and lower eyelashes. for the upper lashes, brush on in a zigzag manner. but for your lower lashes, hold your brush vertically and brush each lash separately.

after the eyes, it would be blusher for me. do not apply blusher only on the apple of your cheeks. you'll end up like a baboon's butt! sweep on blusher starting on the apple of your cheek and upwards towards your temple. also apply them on your t-zone. which means the areas which would receive most sunlight. start with minimal colour and add on until your desire shade. it's always easier to add on than to remove.

finally, it would be the lips. if applying nude shades, apply some foundation onto your lips before apply the colour as it would give a more even shade. otherwise, just put on a layer of lipbalm, followed by your lip colour, and then a layer of clear gloss( i normally put more on my lower lip). you may choose a coloured gloss of similar shade with your lip colour to further enhance it.How can i perfectly apply make up? steps?
Make sure you put on plenty of moisturiser about half an hour before you put on foundation and the rest of ur makeup it goes on much easier.
so i could just write a bunch of steps on how to put on makeup, but i think it would be way easier if you just searched ';make up routines'; on youtube

they have a bunch of really good videos, that would be easier to follow then written instructions

    but some general tips

    -no mascara on bottom lashes

    -no lip liner

k well first but on eye shadow but don't put on all your eye just to where your eye ball ends and don't use like hot pink and baby blues use light gold, light browns and sparky ones.

next put on eye liner. Use dark browns, blacks or coppers and do one eye at a time and don't open the eye u r doing until the eye liner has dryed (1-2min.). Next curl your eye lashes and only top. Next put on mascara use browns and blacks not like purples and pinks and only top lashes.Next put on blushes that only has a slight diffeence of skin tone. After put on concealer where you want and rub it in. And your done!!
    Hey

    general make up tips:

to find your perfect gloss/lipstick colour, look on the inside of your bottom lip, thats your truest shade, try adn match it and youl look great!

your lipliner MUST be the same colour as your lipgloss/lipstick-unless your going for the i dont match look....

if you put on foundation on your lips before you put on lipstick, it has more staying power and definition.

Use loose powder over foundation for a flawless look

blend concealer into your foundation usinga cotton bud on the edges...make sure the colours match.

dab your lips on grease proof paper or kiss your hadn to get rid of excess lipstick/gloss.

erm, put two coats of mascara on BUT wait for each coat to dry completely or youl get clumps...or use colourless for seperation.

instead of gloss/lipstick, you could use eyeshadow with vaseline on top, its pretty!

eyeliner is my best friend...experiment, it could be yours too!

these are just tips from here and there, just make sure your comfortable with your look, have wipes incase you make a mistake and if its for an occation, practice before the actual day.

    good luck!

    Applying make-up for men?

i found this tip on a website and it says this:

    ';To get a sexy look and emphasise your cheekbones, in a way that many women will find attractive, try putting a little shadow below them. I promise it'll make you look sexier! Try it next time you're on a big date and see what happens...';

but i have no idea of what that means...Is there any females, or males out there that can translate this for me and tell me what supplies i need and how to do this? thanksApplying make-up for men?
Well, I personally don't think you would need this, but if you want to try it, or just have fun, you could use a bronzing powder. This would be the easiest and most goof-proof option.

The point of emphasizing cheekbones is to make your face look more ';chisled';, which is supposed to be more appealing to women. (whatever!) he-he

Take your fingers and feel on your cheeks where the cheekbone stands out. Right underneath that is a hollow area. This hollow area is where you would apply the bronzer. Go very lightly at first, you can always add more.

You can also take that bronzer and put a little around the edges of your face, and under your jaw area. This will make you look a bit more ';healthy'; and tan.

Make sure you check every angle in the mirror, to insure you cannot see any lines, and that things are blended nicely.

    Good luck!Applying make-up for men?
What it means is that you are to create a shadow effect right under your cheekbone. That will make your cheekbones look higher, some girls find that nice (you know like Johnny Depp).

However, first high cheekbones are very very feminine....! one of the things nature invented.

SO, it may very well either look stupid bs your bone structure cannot be enhanced like this, or as already said, you may look a bit gay, as it feminises you.

    Think about it....

    Hope this helps.
lol it means put a little blush on your cheekbones, kinda below cheekbones, depending your skin colour, use one shade darker than your skin, not too much k just a little bit as only to define your cheeks ....oh yeah sorry to mention but really kinda not a good idea though, but if you know how then go for it but please don't end up looking like a boofter!!! lol good luck
Its up to you but it would seriously put me off a guy if i noticed he was wearing make up, however there may be girls out there that like it. I think what that means is get pressed powder and sweep it just under your cheek bones. Suck your cheeks, (on your face not yer ****) to define your cheek bones. Oh and tap the brush after you have dipped it in your product or you will end up looking like aunt sally from worzle gummage. Does anyone remember that program. x
guys on tv wear make up male models where make up but men have to keep it really really really natural looking.
No...seriously NO...don't do it! not in todays society you'll be tagged a fag straight away
