U feel that this document have a chunk of information. All these information related to makeup which gives u correct tips. Some effective makeup tips and advice, get all makeup tips for how to apply eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, foundation, etc.

Makeup Tip 1 - If your eyes need brightening, it is a good idea to use sheer! enlivening shades of creamy Free Makeup Tips and Advicebeige, iridescent pearl, soft lilac or see-through wine eye colour.

Makeup Tip 2 - If you don't have your concealer to hand, you can always use a brush dipped in foundation in order to cover any unsightly blemishes or under-eye circles.

Makeup Tip 3 - You should always avoid using concealers that have either pink or orange undertones as they will only highlight rather than hide any imperfections or discolorations.

Makeup Tip 4 - If you want your blusher to look really natural once you have applied it, you need to choose a shade that mimics your skin colour when you blush naturally.

Makeup Tip 5 - If you want to look well groomed but not heavily made-up, ensure that you have no harsh make-up lines round the eyes. The secret as always is to blend thoroughly.

Makeup Tip 6 - For blondes and those with fair hair, brown mascara is a more natural-looking option than black and if more definition is required a brown/black variety is suitable.

Makeup Tip 7 - If you want to wear a really pale shade of eye shadow, try adding definition to the eyes with a pencil and mascara to avoid the chance of looking washed out

Makeup Tip 8 - If you don't want to wear any make-up, try sweeping a large brush loaded with bronzing powder over your skin to create a healthy-looking golden finish.

Makeup Tip 9 - The tone of your skin will change with the seasons, so adapt the colour of your foundation to suit by adding light or dark powder to subtly warm it

Makeup Tip 10 - You will get more mileage from your lipstick if you apply it with a lip brush. It is estimated that this way there are some twenty or so more applications to be had.

Makeup Tip 11 - Lip gloss comes in a wand, a tube, or a pot, and is creamy and translucent. It is often worn alone, or sometimes over lipstick to give your lips additional shine.

HOW TO APPLY LIP GLOSS

HOW TO APPLY LIP GLOSS

Lip gloss, clear or tinted, can be worn alone to create a natural sheen or over lip colours for a lacquered finish.

HOW TO APPLY LIP LINER

Lip liner, should be used primarily to shade rather than outline the lips. It also acts as a great fixative for lipstick.

HOW TO APPLY PENCILS

Pencils are a must for defining eyes and shaping brows. Always look for a soft pencil which will glide along smoothly.

HOW TO APPLY NAIL POLISH

Nail Polish, whether in neutral or bright colours, gives a well-groomed look.

HOW TO APPLY COLOUR CORRECTORS

Colour correctors can be used if you have problems such as broken blood vessels or a ruddy complexion which cannot be covered with a normal concealer.

HOW TO APPLY LIPSTICK

Lipstick, whatever the shade, can help protect the lips, provided that it contains a sun 12 protection factor and hydrators.

HOW TO APPLY TINTED MOISTURIZER

Moisture, is great if your skin requires minimal coverage and you find foundation too heavy. In the summer choose one with a sun protection factor.

HOW TO APPLY MASCARA

Mascara, accentuates the lashes, helping to frame the eyes. For the best results, two fine coats are better than one single, heavy-handed application.

HOW TO APPLY LIQUID EYELINER

Eyeliner, is essential for transforming daytime make-up into a glamorous evening look, but it does require precision application.

HOW TO APPLY EYESHADOW

Eye shadow, in striking, slightly shimmering tones, applied with a light hand, can give the face an air of lumrnosity.

HOW TO APPLY CONCEALER

Concealer, in a retractable stick will give better coverage and last longer than creamy formulations. Look for a shade with yellow undertone to suit your skin tone.

HOW TO APPLY LOOSE POWDER

Loose powder, must be super-fine to ensure it creates a barely there finish and looks as natural as possible once applied. There are basically two kinds of face powder: One is a translucent powder which is loose and applied with a large brush; the other is pressed, comes in a compact and is applied with a small puff. The purpose of using powder is to set your makeup. It may seem as if, by applying the powder, you will be messing up what you have carefully applied, but this is not so.

Powder really fixes it in place, and, contrary to popular opinion, does not clog your skin. Surprisingly, powder has some other beneficial effects. One is that it protects your skin from the elements in the air. Another is that it absorbs extra oil on your skin (this is good news for those of you with spots of oily skin on your face, something almost all of us have).

Many women choose powders with different colors in them (some have essence of green, others purple and still others red or copper).

HOW TO APPLY FOUNDATION

Foundation, is essential to smooth the skin and disguise imperfections. Dry skin needs a creamy formulation and oily skin will benefit from an oily skin will benefit from an oil-free compact or liquid foundation. For superior coverage, choose a liquid or stick foundation.

Skin Tones and Makeup

* Ruddy: Use a foundation with beige or green, no pink or rose

* Sallow: Use a foundation with peach or pink; you may also want to use an under-foundation primer to even out the tones in your skin.

* Olive: Use a tawny foundation,

* Oriental: Use a foundation with pink in it.

* Black: Use a foundation with orange in it.Applying Make Up?
yeah i bought the alexis vogel e-book off ebay for 1pound

i can send you a little extract to see if you like it

it mentions her own products but you can substitute with your own like i do

(from the foundation section-)

Therefore, always start with a small amount, being careful not to apply anything too heavily. After all, you can always add more if you need to. Finally, blending is the key to achieving a finished smooth look. You will need to blend much more than you are used to because a tiny bit of Alexis Vogel products will cover much more than you think.Make sure you are in a well lit area to apply your makeup. A lighted magnifying mirror is the best.

For this portion you'll need:Foundation, Concealer, Sponge Wedges, Pressed Powder, Powder Puff, Blush, Blush Brush, Powder BrushAlways start with clean dry skin. Do not use a moisturizer. This is essential to hold the makeup in place. Use astringent or toner around the eyelids as they require deeper cleaning. Now is a great time to put your hair in rollers. It will keep your hair out of your way. After you鈥檝e done your makeup, it will be ready to comb out. Be sure to watch the Alexis Vogel ';Gorgeous Hair %26amp; Glamorous Lashes'; video for lots of great techniques and ideas to style your hair.Apply eye drops before you begin.Choose a foundation color which most closely matches your existing skin color. Apply the foundation by dabbing it on strategic spots on your face; under your eyes, on your cheeks, chin, nose, forehead, ears and neck.

Using the sponge wedge, smooth the foundation out evenly with a light stroking motion. Working away from the center of your face, eyes first, followed by your cheeks, and then the chin. Remember, apply a little foundation at first. For those areas that need it, you can always go back and add a little more foundation.Make sure you apply foundation to all of the visible skin on your face, ears, and neck. You want to apply it as lightly as possible and blend, blend, blend, working it into your skin. Apply concealor to those blemishes which are still showing through your foundation. A little bit of foundation holds all the rest of your makeup in place, including your blush and eye shadow.Alexis鈥檚 Cr猫me Foundations are specially formulated to smooth out quickly and easily, while still covering well, because it鈥檚 professional makeup! Unlike liquid foundations, this exclusive cr猫me provides extra coverage for a flawless looking complexion that won鈥檛 fade away because it鈥檚 the same custom-blended foundation Alexis uses to keep her celebrity clients looking fresh and beautiful.
i think practice is the key. i have tried looking for guides online to help me out but even then its difficult to apply what you read to your own face. i have found that over the years i have gotten better at applying eyeliner for example just through practice. it used to go all wobbly but now i can get it straight first time. it also helps to buy decent make up. i find cheap eyeshadow/eyeliner doesnt apply as well as the better brands.

Love it! I want to be a make up aritst so this is definately my line of work!!!

Well, Im guessing you are a teenager?

So I'll keep it subtle, to bring out and enhance your best features, right?

Rules:

- Always apply something underneath your foundation otherwise your face with go mega mega oily

- Only use a brush designated for what you are going to use it for ie, don't use a blusher brush for eyeshadow!

- Wash your hands before and after using make up so any gribbly grobblies don't get a chance to invade your face and make you queen of spots

Step 1 - Basecoat, Foundation, Concealer and Powder

I would reccommend Benefits Dr Feel Good to put on underneath your foundation, it comes in a little compact, complete with sponge and it lasts for AGES. All you have to do is gather some powder on the sponge and gentle dipositit on the face, always working upwards (unless you want wrinkles)

I haven't got a concealer, so i don't know the best brand.

Use a green conealer with aloe vera on angry spots, followed by normal concealer to hide them.

A simple test to see if your conealer suits your skintone is rubbing a little onto the inside of your wrist

Then, also from Benefit, foundation called Some Kind of Gorgeous, which suits every skin type, so theres none of this faffing around finding a suitable product.

It also comes in a compact, complete with mirror and sponge.

Use it just like Dr Feel Good, but don't put too much on becuase it has a tendency to bundle up on spots and make you look like David Dickinson

Then, apply powder, again i haven't got one but I would reccommend Clinuques Colour Tray as it gives you a nice summery colour and adds subtle sparkle to your face

Apply this with a big brush, using small circle motions to gather as much powder as possible, then brushing upwards, then down onto your face

If you want to add blusher, i would reccommend The Clour Institues Blushers, they come in two shades, a red and browny colour and a reddy pinky colour

Smile as you brush upwards along your cheekbone, only on the apple of your cheek

(the podgy bit that plumps up when you smile)

Step 2 - Lipgloss/Balm/Stick

Depending on what your taste is, it will depend what you want to use

I always use the Bodyshops Strawberry Lip Balm with Benefits A List Girl clear sheen Lip Gloss

I would also reccommend Toffee from the Naturals collection at Boots and the Lacombe Juicy Tubes

Step 3 - Eyeshadow

It really depends on skin colour and preferance for eyeshadow, but, once you have picked a colour, grye for instance suits most people, apply it like this:

Close one your eyes and gently press the yelashes to your cheek (holding it down without holding the actual lid) then, taking your brush, sweep it backwards and forwards across your chosen eyeshadow, and then apply it form the inside out, don't use short flicks, you will end up with a massive splodge on your temple, not a good look

Then repeat with the other eye

Step 4 - Mascara and Eyeliner

I think that mascara is so widely advertised, you probably have a favourite brand, so once you have chosen, apply liek this:

Get the mascara wand and, looking straight forward, brush upwards onto your lashes, 3 stokes should be enough for your all your top lashes, then rub the wand gently back and forth along the bottom lashes

With the eyeliner, Rimmel Lomdon is a very good brand

Pull your lower lid down, there should be a sort of pink ledge just above your lower lashes, draw a line all the way along this ';ledge'; so that when you let go and blink, your eye looks smaller and the colour enhanced

I think that that is about it, have fun and enjoy trying my ideas

i hope i helped! ... x ...
