Tips for applying natural looking make-up?

I usually wear heavy eye make-up and want to cut down for the summer for a more natural look. Any tips? My skin tone is pretty tan, i have brown eyes, and dirty blonde hair. I want my make-up to pop out my eyes and give me a natural glow and I don't want to look tired. Tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!Tips for applying natural looking make-up?
One trick I know of is to dip a stiff eye brush in eyeshadow about the same color as your lashes and smudge a thin line into the base of your lashes. You should look like you're wearing mascara before you put any on.

Apply a mascara primer and a thin coat of water proof mascara.

Then, a little sheer lip gloss with SPF.

Also try a tinted moisterizer. It's much lighter than concealer and has SPF. Oil Of Olay makes a great one.Tips for applying natural looking make-up?
just go natural,if you want your eyes to pop out consider getting a pair of bi-focals.
Stick with brown or charcoal grey eyeliner - it always looks more natural than black. (Just FYI - navy eyeliner will make the whites of your eyes look whiter, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend that if you're trying to go for a natural look.) Use small strokes and line 2/3 in from the outer corner on the upper lid and 1/3 in from the outer corner on the lower lid, then smudge with your finger or a sponge. For shadow, stick with neutrals; a medium shade on the lid, lighter shade to highlight on the brow bone (if you want) and if you want a little extra definition, use a deeper shade in the crease.
almay has a line of eye makeup just for the color of your eyes, there is a day look and a night look . the colors for day are very soft but yet your eyes stand out biig time! i want to say that it is $6-10 for one set.

good luck!
What I've learned from watching tv:

in the summer you want either heavy eyes or heavy lips, not both. For blush, smile to find the apple of your cheek, apply on th apple and blend back.

If you have tan skin, a pretty light pink will look nice. I love the eye, lip and cheek combo compacts or stick that are out now.

Those are nice for summer.

If you're afraid to look tired, maybe you need a concealer all around the eye. Use one shade lighter than your make up.
1st apply some moisturizer then some compact powder use light color eyeshades and light blush and lastly lipgloss will do it for a natural look
if you don't need to wear foundation...then DON'T.

there is nothing more unnatural than that.
I used this as an idea.....hope it works for you
