How can I apply make up without looking like I have too much on?

I want to go with a ';nude'; look to my face when going to an open call but i feel akward whereing absoulutely no make-up and would like to but, look natural at the same time. How do I go about this??How can I apply make up without looking like I have too much on?
Tinted moisturizer, if that works for you, otherwise a light foundation.





Just a hint of color to the cheeks and lips.





Use a concealer just a shade or two lighter than your face color on your eyelids.





One - maybe two - light coats of mascara and define your brows a bit, if necessary.

How about just a tinted moisturizer to even out color (like Stila's or Laura Mercier). That alone could look nice, and not too powdered over so your skin still looks natural and not too ';done.'; If you need extra coverage, just a wee bit of concealer over any trouble spots. I also like tinted lip balms for subtle color on the lips.
ooh i know what you mean i always wear this when i want a natural look.


just pick a foundation thats exactly your skin colour, apply it neatly (full coverage) and make sure you dont layer it so it looks like your wearing too much.


maybe have a light pink or lilac (some light shade) round the very edge of your top eyelid. Plus some discreet mascara and eyeliner, and a little bit of blusher down your cheekbones.
