How do you make your nose look smaller by applying make-up a certain way?

i know there is a way im just not sure how

anyone help?!How do you make your nose look smaller by applying make-up a certain way?
Wash your face with a gentle facial cleanser. If you are already wearing makeup, wash it off.

Apply any cover-up for scars and acne.

Apply foundation.

If you are thirty or under, you may not need much foundation.

If you are over thirty, or have your heart set on using foundation, blend it in softly and spread it as evenly as you can.

Choose the correct blush.

If you have fair skin, try a light pink blush.

Olive skin can use a golden pink.

Dark skin should use berry shades.

Tawny skin might go with the browner shades of the spectrum.

Determine the shape of your face to apply the blush.

Apply blush from the apples of the cheeks to the temples for oval, square, and heart-shaped faces.

For a round face apply blush from the corners of the mouth to the temples.

Make your nose look smaller by applying blush closer to your nose.

Draw attention away from your nose by using exciting shades for your lips or eyes- something that brings the viewers eye somewhere else. Be careful only to highlight one feature- otherwise this can turn out tacky or outdated. How do you make your nose look smaller by applying make-up a certain way?
okay, heres what i do,

apply foundation

and then put concealer on the sides of your nose

then take highlighter and applly it under your eyes and on the side of your nose by your eyes pat in to soften the line

apply nars multi stick in a straight line to the middle of your nose and your cheekbones

then apply brown blush under cheek bones and pink blush on your apples of your cheeks

then do something slightly dramatic [black eyeliner/lots of mascara, bright red lipgloss] with your lips and eyes.
You can use shading powder or cream to make your nose appear narrower. Usually this is a stage-makeup trick, so if you want detailed information, look up stage makeup on google or wikipedia.

The principles are that darker colors minimize and lighter colors highlight. Darker powders/creams on the sides or underside of your nose will minimize. You don't use much, and then you blend it in with your normal base foundation color. Highlight the top of your cheekbones with a lighter color, and also the bridge/top of your nose.

You can use this same concept to visually straighten a crooked or broken nose.
First, use a good base makeup (Clinique, Merle Norman) and apply a thin, even coat all over your face. Then take an under-eye circle type coverstick and draw a line down either side of your nose close to the center (maybe 1/8 inch from the center on either side). Blend in one-way strokes with your index finger from top of nose to bottom until it isn't obvious.

Next, look at your face in the mirror. Is there any area of your nose from top to bottom that casts a shadow when facing head-on? If not, go ahead and apply translucent powder and continue normal makeup application (mascara, lipstick, etc.)

If you do have dark areas or shadows, Put some of the cover stick in small amounts until they appear lighter and blend, then continue as in the paragraph above.
