some eyeshadow brands like MAC and Urban Decay gives you the option of adding a little water to the shadows for a dramtic look. Just dont put too much water in there. In applying eye make-up, Is it fine to mix it up with water?
some makeup is ment to be mixed like marykay (or at least used to) mixing water with reg eyeshadow is bad for the eyeshadow. it use up more than needed and makeup is expensive dont want to ruin it or waste it.In applying eye make-up, Is it fine to mix it up with water?
I use vincent longo eye shadow, like one of the tri-color ones, and i use the darkest color as an eyeliner, it is like a dark brown, and i am fair skinner and dont like eyelines that i find in a store. all i do is get an angled brush wet it and then put it in the color. then i just swipe it on top of my eyelid and then let it dry. i dont wet my shadows that i put on the crease of my eye though, it gets too heavy.
I always do with my black eye shadow, but I was advised against it.
it depends, some powder shadow looks darker, stays longer if you mix it with water , just dip the tip of the brush in clean water.
i tried it with kryolan which actually works that way and with the shadow cubes from the body shop , but not with the others so i don't know if it works or not.
it depends on what kind of shadow it is. on some brands, if you read they will tell you if you want more of a dramatic look, add some drops of water to it. but for some shadows you shouldnt add water because it will either clump up the color or its just not good for the shadow. hope this helped.
NOOOOOOOO. Powder eye shadow looks good on normal to oily skin. Cream eye shadow looks good on dry skin.
If you're referring to a powder eyeshadow or something, I really wouldn't. Then it would become more of a cream, and my experience with pasty or creamy eyeshadows makes it look ';cake-y'; and streaky after a few hours. Plus, if it hardened, it would be a mess to remove later on.
