What are some few tips to apply make up?

I am trying to go more for a natural look, and I would like to know what are some good products to use. Also what are the steps to apply eye color? What are some few tips to apply make up?
1. For a more natural foundation, get your sponge wet before applying. This distributes the color more evenly and makes it sheer while still making your face an even tone. I use Maybeline ';pure'; foundation, which gives me good coverage but its #1 ingredient is water.

2. For eye color.. you guessed it, water!! Get a bunch of disposable eye color applicators (like the ones that come with eyeshadow, but these come in packages of 100. Usually located by the makeup sponges in the aisle at drugstore) Apply your eyeshadow dry, then get applicator wet and blend the color over your eyelid. It intensifies the color, and you can blend it out to make it sheer as well.

3. For sexy eyes, try brown mascara. Its less intense, but still makes your lashes stand out. What are some few tips to apply make up?
never put on your makeup really dark. lakme and l'oreal are the best of all.whenever you put eye color make sure that it is bright at the centre and make it light at the ends
Well, i don't know why would you wanna go through so much trouble to get a natural look... isn't it suppose to be simple? I would usually just apply

1, Tinted sunblock.

2, Brow set (The mascara thingies that's meant to be for eyebrows) in clear color, it gives u a nicely groom brows.

3, Eyeliner if you wanna enhance your eyes even more or you can move straight onto Mascara.

4, Blusher

5, Sheer colored lip gloss...

This is what i would apply when i was in college, natural / fresh look... Only takes about 10 mins.

Whoa... now hold on and look at the irony of this...

You want to look natural... but you want to do it by applying mass manufactured, compacted, and packaged make-up? I think natural would just be you being yourself... inside and out

heh but we all know what being an indivuidual can do to you in this society... conform and obey to get ahead.

but han I dont have a problem with makeup or nothing I just sure as hell dont use it too look natural.. I love neons
The Base

Start with fresh clean skin that has been lightly moisturised. Allow the moisturiser time to absorb into the skin before applying foundation as you don’t want it going on too slick a surface. Ideally using a concealor brush* (but fingers are fine if you don’t have one) apply Clinque cover stick ($28) to hide blemishes, under eye circles and any other skin problems you wish to smooth out.

Using a foundation brush or makeup sponge (or fingers if you’d rather) apply Clinque Perfectly Real Makeup ($58). This flawless finish foundation comes in six natural shades and works for all skin types + it stop blemishes from coming out

Set the foundation with a dusting of Clinque Powder ($32). This light, mineral based pressed powder gives great protection against shine and ensures your foundation stays put all day.

The Eyes

The key to a natural daytime look is sticking to neutral colours that will enhance your features, rather than scream, “Look at me!”

Keep it simple, apply a soft layer of Clinque eyeshadow ($23) in Honey Glow over the eyelid

Apply a swipe of Clinque Eyeshadow ($23) in Shiny Gold to the crease.

Line both the top and bottom eyelids with Clinque Eye Pencil in Taupe ($17).

If desired, use a coat of Loreal Mascara on your lashes ($25).

The Lips

When going for a soft, natural look avoid strong lipstick shades. Instead use lip gloss to add a subtle sheen and pinch of colour.

The Loreal Lipgloss in Buttered Rum ($19) is a great do-it-all colour to add to your collection. This shade suits everyone and is the perfect finish to a natural makeup look. Keep it in your bag for easy touch ups
