Can anyone help me with applying make up?

me and my mom aren't that close so we dont talk alot


she said now that i am in highschool i can wear make up


i get eyeshadow and mascara. what about eyelinear or anything else.


im not saying im going to wear it all but it be nice to know so that i dont look like a n idiot:)

well eyeshadow is a big one, so it's good that you got it. For your blush you will want to try lighter tones for a more natural look. And for me I normally wear a tinted lip gloss because I like to make my eyes the focal point. I'm going to give you the link to a question I answered about eyeliner, this will help you know how to apply it depending on what you are using, liquid, pencil etc....


Also always remember only play up one feature. If you are going to do your eyes then don't put on a bright red lip, the two focal points will clash as they will compete for attention. black eyeliner is a good for most, i love bronze, but just try a variety of colors and start with the color of your eyes. and liquid eyeliner is the best. mineral make-up is really good. just find a foundation that watches your skin and bronzer is really nice, and find a nice light, pink tone of blush. i like natural colors for my eye shadows like browns, and bronzes. blues, purples, greens, pinks are all really good colors to try. just start out with more natural colors and wear all your make-up lightly. when doing your eye shadows, like quads, put the darker colors on closer to your lid, and put the lighter ones higher up.
