Do you have to have a license to apply make up in a salon?

And if so, would it be an esthetician license?





I want to get a 2nd steady job @ a salon. I'm an experienced make-up artist... but I have no license %26amp; I live in Michigan. I've tried looking it up online for Michigan's requirements but I've had no luck.





Does anyone know ???Do you have to have a license to apply make up in a salon?
I've read online the other day that to get a job doing anything major in a salon that you'd need a license.
