Mac sells a brush for foundation that is awesome, it always makes your face look flawless. Also try going to mac and having the make up artists there show you tricks to allpying make up nicely. What is the best way to apply mac make up when trying to make it look lighter and flawless?
mac makeup is really theater make up so if you want a lighter look switch brands.
don't use your fingers or those small brushes...large, soft brushes are the best...they help create a natural, flawless look...
Use small amounts... and a large brush. The brush helps keep things natural and light.
Get proper brushes. That makes more difference than anything else. Make sure you know how to use them. The counter people can show you how to get the effect you want, but you have to use good brushes. You might try a loose powder too. Compact powder encourages overuse.
start w/ a good moisturizer......but ask the mac counter to help you w/ their product.....if any good tricks...they're the pros!! : )
you can always try and use a primer... smashbox is amazing try photo finish foundation primer
Use a special brush designed for foundation. It makes all the difference in the world. Clinique makes one.
