Good luck, xDHow to apply make up?
First of all anything you apply you are going to want to learn the correct techniques because you could have the best products but if you apply them incorrectly you're going to look like a lot of makeup is sitting on your face.

To get rid of pimples you want to use concealer on the specific areas. But, concealer works much better when you apply foundation first to the whole face.

This is where it can get tricky. Apply it in sheer light layers so that you just get flawless coverage and it won't look caked on.

For brown hair and eyes I like pinks. Especially since you are quite young this will just enhance the natural rosiness. Light golds will also just give a nice sheer glowing effect.

I would suggest going light on the makeup. A nice pink rouge and a simple natural gloss.

Obviously, you will need to color match everything to your skin so I suggest going into a store with testers available and ask for help from the attendants if you need it.

I can't stress enough though that learning the application techniques is so important. This is where most women go wrong.
Hello there. Im a professional freelance makeup artist and i guess the best advice i can give you is, when it comes to your age ( you being 13) is that less is more. Most girls your age think that they need a face full of foundation, concealer, powder, blush etc... but honestly (and im sure you seen it) they end up looking like they have a mask on. So I would suggest a concealer to cover up whatever pimples, blemishes, discoloration you might have. A good concealer that you could buy at walmart or any other drug store is Covergirl invisible concealer. Just make sure you match it to your skin color. because if its to dark it will make your face look dirty and if its to light it will make your face look ashy. just dab it onto what ever spots you trying to cover up and blend. If its a small spot your trying to hide then a concealer brush would be best to use so that you get precise results but other than that your fingers sometimes are the best tools. After the concealer, powder your face with a light face powder that is either tranclucent or matches your skin. I dont know what your skin color is but if you are wanting to wear blush just remember before you apply it, tap off the excess powder so that you dont end up putting more on your cheek than you wanted. Also a good way to make sure you dont end up with more on you face than wanted is to just dab the brush onto the product instead of swirling it around. If you're unsure about where to apply your blush an easy way to find out is to stand up then bend over ( dont lower you legs or bend you knees) as if you where to pick something up, but stay in that position for a few minutes and when you straighten back up, look in the mirror and your cheeks well be a little flushed. whereever your cheeks are flushed is where you can place you blush. just remember to put a little on at first then gradually add more. As for your eyes. ive always felt that purples looks great on brown eyes. maybe a lavender eyeshaow on the eyeball part of the lid and slightly in the crease of you eye. And like i said earlier. You could just use your fingers to apply. unless you're wanting multiple colors then you should invist in some eyeshadow brushes. I hope that this info helps! best of luck!
If acne is your problem, you should consider visiting a dermatologist (skin doctor) to get some help with your skin instead of trying to hide problems with makeup. Otherwise, makeup could make the problem with your skin get worse.

If the acne isn't bad enough that you need to see a doctor, you could try buying Clearasil Tinted Acne Cream at the drugstore. It is tinted

(like a concealer) to cover up the pimples but uses benzoyl peroxide to dry up and heal them! So its both a treatment and a makeup.

If you do decide to buy some makeup, make sure it says ';oil-free'; on the packaging so that it won't clog your pores.
when talking about foundation, glasses doen't bother but if you were talking about eye make up, it would, firstly i'll say that. i am 14 and i care too much about my skin health, obviously. so i reccomend u use mineral make up just like Bare Escentuals bareminerals foundation. its loose powder form and gives buildable coverage, which means i you apply lightly it'll give low coverage but if you apply with a firm brush or apply more of the product coat by coat, it'll give you full coverage. bareminerals foundation is also very good for skin cuz its pure minerals etc.

and also, if you'd like your foundation in liquid form, there are tinted moisturizers, thats an option, and a pretty good one for our age. a tinted moisturizer is a face moisturizer with a hint of tint, like you just mixed so little of your liquid foundation in your daily moisturizer. so that might be chosed by your side.

hope this helped :D:D
Hey!

So I think it's great you wanna experiment with make up! Applying it is easy and easy to learn there are tons of ways to do it. For you I'd recommend using neutral colors like browns and champange's but since you have brown eyes once in a while plums and purples would look nice too!

I can't really type out how to apply make up but I have a YOuTube Channel where I do demonstrations and tutorials I'm posting a Back TO School Look soon! Come check out the channel and subscribe!

I would suggest wearing natural makeup, foundation is best for covering up pimples, although you need to make sure you have your right skin tone. blusher is nice if your pail skinned and want a bit of color in your cheeks. A little bit of mascara can open your eyes wider.
